Palestinians protest the killings in Kfar Kana

Thousands of Palestinians in cities across Judea and Samaria and in Gaza held protests for the killing of Lebanese citizens in Kfar Kana. The protesters shouted “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” and called for the terrorist groups to strike Israel with terrorist attacks.

The protests were organized by the Fatah, the Islamic Jihad, and Hamas.

Israeli security officials say that over the past few days, the Palestinians have been attempting to open up another front against Israel, in addition to the one in Lebanon and the one in Gaza. The Hizballah and the terrorist organizations’ headquarters in Damascus are pressuring their affiliates in Judea and Samaria to conduct terrorist activities for the purpose of pressuring Israeli society and to help Hizballah.

Khaled Mashaal, head of Hamas’s political office, called on Sunday for the Palestinians to continue their struggle for the benefit of Hizballah. Palestinian groups in Gaza yesterday sent a letter to Hassan Nasrallah saying “We completely support Hizballah and the Lebanese people in light of the aggression against the Lebanese and Muslims in the region. The massacre at Kfar Kana is a sign of hatred by the Zionist entity which is supported by the United States and has even given international legitimacy to their actions.”

Palestinian government spokesperson Dr. Ghazi Hamed called yesterday for the Arab nations to pressure their governments, by acts of civil disobedience, in protest of the Israeli attacks in Lebanon and in Gaza. “The word ‘condemnation’ should be erased from the Arab dictionary. Inaction in response to the Israeli massacre in Lebanon proves we are a helpless people.”
