Foreign Minister Livni on European tour

Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni has embarked on a short European trip visiting Paris, Brussels, and Rome where she will be discussing the international force that is due to arrive in southern Lebanon.

While in France, Livni will meet with Prime Minister Dominique DeVilepan and Foreign Minister Phillip Dus-Blazit. She will also meet with Belgian Foreign Minister Karl DeGoht.

In Italy Livni will meet with Prime Minister Romano Prodi and with Foreign Minister Massimo D’alma.

During her visit Livni will discuss issues such as the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701, the unconditional release of the kidnapped Israeli soldiers and the deployment of the international force in south Lebanon.
