Al-Qaeda terrorist has Jewish roots

The mother of Adam Pearlman never dreamed he would turn out this way. The typical wish of a Jewish mother is for her son to become a doctor or maybe a lawyer, but this Jewish boy went in a completely different direction: International terrorism. No – not the people who fight terrorism, but the ones who conduct it.

It seems like the person who is seen in a video released by the notorious Al-Qaeda arch-terrorist Ayman al-Zawahri calling for all Americans to convert to Islam is none other than Adam Pearlman, of Santa Ana, California.

Adam was born in September, 1978 in Santa Ana, California. Adam’s father, the son of a prominent Jewish surgeon, converted from Judaism to Christianity and changed the family name to Gadahn. At age 17, Adam walked into a mosque in Orange County and thus began his trip to the world of Islamic extremism. After a while, displaying sometimes violent and criminal behavior, Adam left for Pakistan where he found his way into the welcoming arms of Al-Qaeda.

The FBI believes he attended an Al-Qaeda training camp in Pakistan and is currently working as a translator and a spokesperson for them.

According to the FBI website, Adam Yahiye Gadahn is being sought in connection with possible terrorist threats against the United States. Although the FBI has no information indicating this individual is connected to any specific terrorist activities, the FBI would like to locate and question this person, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
