Foreign Ministry Director General Aaron Abramovich visited Jordan yesterday on a secret trip in which he met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ab’d Al’Hila al-Hatib and with other senior officials.
This is Abramovich’s first visit to Jordan since he took the position. This is also the first visit of an Israeli official to Jordan since the end of the war in Lebanon in hopes of easing tensions between Israel and Jordan that developed during the war.
