Ahmadinejad speaks to UN; Fox News airs campaign

While Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was speaking in front of the UN General Assembly, a new TV advertising campaign was launched on Fox News Channel calling the American People to stand behind Israel. The campaign is funded by the “Friendship Fund” headed by Rabbi Yehiel Eckstein.

The central part of the campaign is a 60-second TV commercial which includes quotes of the Iranian President calling for the destruction of Israel.

Rabbi Yehiel Eckstein calls on the viewers of the campaign to “transform the words of support and care for Israel into actions. Many people said after the Holocaust that in retrospect they wished they could have done something to prevent the atrocities against the Jews. Now is the time to act. The alarm signaling Israel’s danger from Iran has been heard.”

During the war in the north, the Friendship Fund aired a similar campaign on Fox News,
