Galilee’s presents the best of its pomegranate orchards in this sweet liquor, made purely from pomegranates grown in the place Jesus began his ministry (Mark 1:39). His first disciples were Galilean fisherman - Simon Peter, Andrew, James and John – who came from Bethsaida near the sea (Mark 1:16,19). Many of Jesus' miracles, including the multiplication of the loaves and fishes (Mark 6:31-44), take place in the Galilee.
