Cayenne peppers, either whole or as a powder, is used in a variety of chilli products. It is used in various chilli's and salsa's (Mexico), in Tabasco sauce, in Atchar (Turkey) or in Harissa (Israel).
The alkaloid in Cayenne, despite its sharpness, does not irritate the stomach, but even protects it from them from aggressive substances! It improves circulation and assists in burning calories.
