And you Gentiles ... have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children (Romans 11:17). Gentile believers, or Christians, stand strong on these words of Paul and take every chance they have to visit Israel and be a part of the reconstruction of the Promised Land. Kim Clement Center are no exception. Hailing originally from South Africa, Kim Clement is recognized worldwide for his prophetic ministry to the nations - following in the footsteps of a giant of the faith, America's David Wilkerson, best known for his book, The Cross and the Switchblade, and who recently went to join the Lord in his 79th year.

Kim and his ministry spend time in Israel from the U.S.A. at every opportunity, with the intention to bless the land and its people, and so bless God. In early 2012 (being African!) Kim Clement visited the Mevaseret Zion Ethiopian Absorption Center in Jerusalem. "We learned a lot about the culture and the Ethiopian story," said Kim, "which was very touching and emotional for us all."

Walking through the Absorption Center, Kim noticed Ethiopian-Israeli children playing in the streets, and riding their bikes, "and we didn’t feel it was a stimulating or a safe enough environment for them." A big patch of land stood unused in the middle of the Absorption Center. On inquiry, Kim was told it had been a playground previously! "So we saw a great need and decided to do something about it. We appealed to our congregants to help us raise the funds to build a playground."

Anyone who attends Kim's online church at The Den will know that 'said is as good as done'. Today, a beautifully maintained playground graces the Mevaseret Zion Center. "We are very proud of the finished product and so very happy the children have a great place to play, and be children."

Thank you, Kim Clement Center, and to the many Christian ministries that bless Israel in countless ways. A big thank you, too, to so many Israel Today readers who work tirelessly to build Israel. You are very much appreciated!
