Your generous gift was received with gratitude

A few days before the holiday of Passover, Israel Today distributed a truck full of food that was donated by our loyal readers. Thanks to your support, immigrant families will have what they need this Passover.

In Mevasseret Zion, Israel there are hundreds of families originating from Ethiopia. With the help of willing volunteers, the goods were distributed to over 400 of these families.

Once the truck arrived, a group of enthusiastic young assistants appeared to help with the unloading and carrying of the goods to the Immigration office. Everything was loaded into the office, and then bagged for distribution.

An assembly line of young men formed to fill the bags with these eleven products: a bottle of grape juice, rice, lentils, sugar, tea bags, canned corn, olives, tomato sauce, chocolate spread, cooking oil and a 2 kg box of matzos. The small office was filled to capacity with this abundance of gifts.

The families were smiling with gratitude as they received the packages. The majority were mothers with children who were ecstatic about this Passover surprise. This gift is a tremendous relief to these families, who are well familiar with the ongoing struggle to provide for their families.

The recipient families send their sincere thanks for this generous gesture from anonymous donors.

It’s not too late to give. You can help put smiles on the faces of more families in need. Your contribution makes a difference!
