The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens is to have a children's discovery trail! On July 1, 2013, a cornerstone was laid in the presence of donors and representatives of supporting organizations. A special scroll of their signatures was also embedded in the cornerstone as a memorial.
South African Jews have opted for nonviolent communication strategies in support of Israel's God-given right and Covenant to possess the Holy Land. Mr. Ismael Coovadia, who knowingly and willingly served as South Africa's Ambassador to Israel until December, 2012, recently rejected a gift of 18 trees planted in his honor on land also recognized by the international community as Israeli territory.
It is well known that the Land of Israel is a central meeting point for three continents: Asia, Europe and Africa. The 2013 International Exhibition for marketing of fresh agricultural produce took place in June at the hub of this meeting point, Tel Aviv.
