Israel Today staff and the people of Israel celebrated the Tu Bishvat holiday by planting trees. The Jewish National Fund reported that a record 600,000 trees were planted over the holiday. Israel Today joined over 260 cities, towns and communities throughout Israel and hundreds of thousands of Israelis participated throughout the country to make the record possible.
Israeli soldiers planted trees on Tu Bishvat in order to protect residents who live under rocket fire every day. Help us replant the land.
On Friday, January 24th, Israelis celebrated Tu Bishvat, the "new year of the trees," and local Messianic schoolkids in Jerusalem got an early start on the tree planting that typically accompanies the holiday. Israel Today joined schoolchildren in Jerusalem working to replant the land
