The Jerusalem Botanical Gardens is to have a children's discovery trail! On July 1, 2013, a cornerstone was laid in the presence of donors and representatives of supporting organizations. A special scroll of their signatures was also embedded in the cornerstone as a memorial.
South African Jews have opted for nonviolent communication strategies in support of Israel's God-given right and Covenant to possess the Holy Land. Mr. Ismael Coovadia, who knowingly and willingly served as South Africa's Ambassador to Israel until December, 2012, recently rejected a gift of 18 trees planted in his honor on land also recognized by the international community as Israeli territory.
Since the formation of the State of Israel, tree planters have been busy creating forests in the holy land, which was a barren wasteland for centuries.
