The IDF Spokesperson's Office confirmed on Saturday, February 16th, that seven Syrians hurt in battles between the Syrian army and Syrian rebel forces were taken to Ziv Medical Center in Safed, in northern Israel. The seven made their way across the demilitarized zone separating Israel and Syria on their own.
"An IDF force administered medical care to the wounded men near the border fence and they were taken for further treatment," a statement said.
The IDF is a moral defense force, committed to protecting the lives of all people, whether the individuals are friendly or opposing troops.
Despite this, Israel is often vilified throughout the world. IDF soldiers, 18 year old men and women trained in the world's most moral army, are often the brunt of these attacks.
