When tens of thousands of Israelis were called up to the front lines for Operation Pillar of Cloud in Gaza, Israel Today and our readers got to work providing support for the troops.
Thanks to our generosity, these men and women were kept relatively comfortable with packages which included, among other things, warm fleece scarves, winter socks, and lip balm, as well as pizza to provide some relief from those Spartan battle rations.
Most importantly, they were reminded that there are people abroad supporting and praying for them and standing with Israel. Here are some thank you notes we received from soldiers:
