Purim is more than just a carnival

Bouncing bumble bees, pretty princesses and awesome astronauts will populate the streets and homes of Israel on March 5th. There will be Clowns and yellow ducks looking into the world, even from strollers, because even the smallest children are lovingly prepared for Purim. Even now, weeks before the feast, the majority of the kids don’t talk about anything but their Purim costumes and their hope that the feast won’t fail due to inclement weather.

Hanukkah at Beit HaYeled

For Nachman and his wife Esther, raising their family is anything but normal. Their "family" consists of their own 2 little kids who also have 10 older siblings. Nachman & Esther are the "father & mother" of a family unit at Beit HaYeled on the outskirts of Gilo, a southern neighborhood of Jerusalem.
