Purim Gifts for Children at risk

Posted on 3/10/2013 by in Purim Children Mishloach Manot

Thank you to all who generously donated a gift for a child this Purim. One of the recipient organizations is a day care shelter for children aged 6 months to 6 years.

We received a letter from the shelter "Harav Tachliti". They send their thanks to those who generously gave these gifts. These children were truly able to enjoy a happy Purim.

The children at this shelter would not have received Mishloach Manot (Purim treats) otherwise.

Purim is a time of celebration, music and dancing, delicious food and more. What warms the heart the most during this season is when we can give Mishloach Manot to someone who was not expecting to receive a gift, especially someone in need.

Now that Purim is over, we still remember the happy faces of the children when they were surprised with the Purim gifts. Let us keep with us this spirit of generosity, as there are many more children in need. You can help needy children this Passover by giving here.
