Purim is a Jewish family celebration, children dress up in costume
and parade through the streets. Families prepare prepare gift baskets
(mishloach manot) and exchange them om Purim.
One of the most
important traditions on Purim is to give alms to the needy and poor
and invite those less fortunate than yourselves to a meal!
The whole family participates in the joyous preparations and
distribution of Purim gifts to friends, neighbours and the needy.
