Jews help Muslims with Christian cash
Jewish rabbi raises donation from evangelical Christians to help Israeli Bedouins. Strange? Not really

In Israel's vast Negev desert, an Orthodox rabbi is helping impoverished Arab Bedouins with money collected from American evangelical Christians.

When a violent storm swept away the encampment of the al-Amrani clan on the side of a hill near the town of Rahat on December 27, the 250-strong tribe, including 110 children, lost everything.

Six weeks earlier, the Bedouin family lived near Dimona, but they had to quickly flee their homes, abandoning most of their possessions, after armed clashes with a rival more powerful clan.

"These types of problems, disputes over land purchases, have been going on for 10 years," says Nasar al-Amrani, 45, one of the clan heads. "But this time people were killed. The Israeli police advised us to leave."

With their houses burned down and many of their belongings stolen, they took refuge near Rahat, a poor and dusty town in central Negev, after getting authorization from city hall, and erected large tents for shelter.

But their new homes did not last long - driving rain and raging winds from the December storm destroyed everything, injuring one woman and her six children. The clan was evacuated by Israeli rescue services and housed in a school, temporarily vacant because of the holidays.

Rabbi Eckstein, head of the "International Fellowship of Christians and Jews," a non-governmental organization, who raises funds from the staunchly pro-Israel evangelical Christians in the US "largely to support Israel," allocated some of the money to help the Bedouins.

"We have 200 projects running in Israel," says Eckstein. "Our guidelines are - help the people of Israel. All the citizens of Israel, regardless of their religion."

"We don't help Palestinians," he says, referring to those living in occupied Palestinian territories. "But we do help Druze, (Israeli Arab) Muslims, Bedouins. And I never had any complaint (from a donor) because we're helping Arabs.”

A few hours after talking to Rahat's mayor, Eckstein gave the green light to unblock $148,000 to help the al-Amrani clan.

And last Friday, in rain and freezing wind, dozens of volunteers were bustling about outside Rahat, welding metal girders and covering them with metal sheets as they put up 56 solid - though not necessarily the most comfortable - shelters.

The clan is preparing for several years there or even longer, as they wait, without too much hope, for other land to be allocated to them.

"It's Christian money? So what?" said Nasar al-Amrani. "We need help, they are here. Jews, Christian, Muslims, it's all the same God. What I understand is that the rabbi is doing this so that God sees it and knows it."

3 .  I am Hashem your God...

known any god,

for there is
no savior, but Me.

I knew you
in the wilderness,
in a parched land.
With their pasture*
they became sated
they were sated
and their hearts
grew haughty
therefore they
forgot Me.

I will lurk on the road...

I will devour them there

the beast of the field
will split them open.

For you rebelled

4 .  Those who slaughter man...
shall kiss the calves.

When Ephraim (10 Tribes/nations)
spoke
there was trembling...
he was exalted in Israel,
but he became guilty
through Baal and he died...

Now they continue to sin
and they have made
for themselves
a molten image
from their silver
accordsing to their design...
idols,
wholly the work
of craftsmen...

The priests say to them:
"Those who slaughter
man shall kiss the calves.*

Therefore
they shall become
like the
morning cloud,
like the early
morning dew
that departs,
like chaff that is blown
from the treshing floor,
and like smoke
from a skylight...

*The entire nation,
Ephraim and Judah together.

5 .  Jesus was NOT an acceptable...
sacrifice in G*d''s eyes!

The Bible warns
the People of Israel
that it is a grave sin
to bring a human being
as a sacrifice.

The Book of Leviticus,
tells us that
only distinct species of animals
are permitted for use in blood sacrifices.

Abraham was ready
to sacrifice Isaac,
But the Almighty admonished him that He
did not want
the human sacrifice,
and directed Abraham
to sacrifice a ram
caught in the thicket instead.
The Almighty''''s directive –
- that he only wanted
animal sacrifices
rather than human sacrifices –
- was immediately understood.

6 .  Jesus was NOT a new and living way...
- a shortcut
to enter into the holiest...
Hebrews 10:19 -20

Jesus says:
"I am the way,
the truth,
and the life.
No one comes
to the Father
except through Me.”
John 14:4-6

BUT The Torah says:
Now therefore, ye children,
hearken unto me
for happy are they
that keep
my ways...

For whoso findeth me
findeth life,
and obtaineth
favour of the L*rd.

But he that misseth me

wrongeth his own soul

all they that hate me
love death..."
Proverbs 8

Follow the Torah
she is the Highway to G*d...
the Way of holiness
– the redeemed shall walk there...
Isaiah 35:8-9

No one comes to the Father
through Jesus.

7 .  Jews helping Muslims
I am a supporter of Rabbi Eckstein and am so thankful to be able to, so I trust his judgement to help those who truly are in need. I am a Christian and really believe in what Rabbi Eckstein is doing.

9 .  Donation
This was a very humanitarian, generous thing to do. I agree with Nasar al-Amrani''s last quote. The Abrahamic faiths should unite against the atheist forces as opposed to tearing each other apart. It is all the same God.

11 .  Good news
This is good news! An example that Jesus would celebrate, a real example of a good neighbour, Love you neighbour as Yourself.

12 .  Jesus cont.
innocent as doves. Many muslims wil see the hypocrisy of islam and turn to the one true God. Jews will see the Christians mighty acts and will burn with jealousy for what we have and will come to saving faith in Yeshua. We are the only ones who will love and support them in these last days.

13 .  Jesus
Jesus is the Messiah and yes He is Jewish. He will not do away with christianity or Judaism. All people and nations will worship Him in a uniquely Jewish way. No one will be concerned with whether it is Christian or Jewish. It will be worship the way desires it and no worship of any other god will occur. The god of the muslims is not the same god as the God of the Bible. I pray that Nasar al-Amrani will soon realize that. Many muslims are coming to faith in Yeshua. It is obviously something that is not publicized. I am a contributor to Ekstein''s ministry and a christian. Jesus said to feed the poor and care for the orphans and widows. Does it matter that they are not Christian? Perhaps they will see the generosity of those who love God and be converted. Faith without works or mitzvot is dead. Love your neighbor as yourself. That is one of the greatest commandments. We are even to love our enemies. No, we do not support terrorism or help the enemy to gain the upper hand. We are to wise as serpents and innoce

14 .  re: Happy and Sad
As the Sages have taught, it is our responsibility to leave this world in better condition than what we found it. Christians need to have their blinders taken off. Sadly, the church system has taught them the falsehood that the Jewish people are blind to the truth. Church people are even more blind than the Jews. The church system teaches so much falsehood and paganism such as trinity, easter, christmas, lent, tribulation rapture, cross symbol, church steeple, pagan names, annulling the Father''s Great Name, Sunday worship, etc.,etc. Even sadder still is that christians believe they are going to make this world a ''christian'' world one day when their ''Jesus'' comes. Messiah will be an Israelite who will do away with all christian, muslim, religious paganism and the world will follow Israelite Torah truths. Praise Hashem!

15 .  Happy and Sad
While I am happy that the Rabbi is helping these poor people, my heart breaks to hear comments like..."It''s all the same God".
The Lord Jesus, being the only acceptable sacrifice in God''s eyes, said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the father but by me". While I am glad to see the Christians helping out, I am concerned that they are not being presented with the gospel. What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, but loose his own soul?
