Israel preparing for war with Syria, confirms general

A senior Israeli general on Monday confirmed that the army is preparing for a full-scale war with Syria in the very near future.

Speaking at Israel's Institute for National Security Studies, Maj.-Gen. Eyal Ben-Reuven, who served as deputy commander of Israel's northern forces during last summer's war in Lebanon, said that the army is “preparing itself for an all-out war, and this is a major change in the military's working premise” following the 34-day conflict with Hizballah that many Israelis feel their nation failed to win.

The general said that when war breaks out, Syria will be prepared to suffer mass military and civilian casualties, while at the same time playing on Israel's sensitivity to civilian losses by striking Israel's home front with as many missiles as possible.

Syria “will try to hit Israel's home front in order to win diplomatic gains in peace talks that will follow, and also cause another split in Israeli society,” Israel National News quoted Ben-Reuven as saying.

In order to deny Syria this victory, Ben-Reuven said the Israeli army is training for a swift and overwhelming invasion of Syria “to knock out the areas from where missiles are launched against Israel as quickly as possible.”

He lamented that if Israel had responded to Hizballah's rocket attacks in such a manner, the Second Lebanon War would have ended much differently.

What is the problem

is that we need some time to go into all these questions in a constructive way.
This evening I cannot take more.
But when I have some time free, I am willing to go on and tell you the way I understand the texts, in my opinion and what I believe is true.
What we for sure have common is we believe in One God, HaEl shel HaAvim. Not so bad.

If we move away from phrasing such as "hold jews accountable for killing", I think we can get a much clearer picture of who Moshiach is and why He came to earth. God chose the Jews in order to bring forth the Moshiach, why? To save the WHOLE WORLD. He became Gods sacrifice to atone for His creation, and He appointed a High Priest to perform the task. That High Priest was in training since Aaron. The High Priest chose between Yeshua and Barabbas as they were brought before Pilate, remember? Just as he did when he chose between the goats on the day of atonement. No one else was qualified to present the sacrifice. Satan would have you turn it all around into a blame and a guilt trip. Thats his style.
Jews are chosen to execute Gods salvation work on this earth, i.e.bring forth Moshiach and offer Him as sacrifice for the world. Had they known who He was, it would of been offering their son to Moloch, or they would not have sacrificed Him.

Soldiers killing in self defense or...

I believe if we will look at the original wording of the 10 Commands, we will see that this law reads, "Thou shalt not murder." When soldiers or anyone kills in self defense, in defense of their nation, family or friends, they are not committing premeditated murder.

While it is true that a remnant of Israel shall survive the Time of Jacob''s Trouble, the Bible says that fully two-thirds will die during this 70th week of Daniel. The 70th week is the final seven years before God brings in His Millenial Kingdom the first half being called the "Beginning of Sorrows" and the second half being called the "Great Tribulation". At the end of the Great Tribulation, God will return to Jerusalem, vanquish the Anti-Messiah, and sit upon the Throne of David.

Israel has repeatedly had to fight an enemy that does not pray to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Muslim''s pray to the Moon God, look at the symbology on their mosques, and the written history.

Second, muslim''s don''t want a state. If they had a state they would have to play in the world as the rest of the natiions due. Now they have no level of accountability. In violation of UN treaty to kidnapp and hold hostage, it is the way they do business. Money won''t change their course, only increase their arms. They can''t get along with each other, killing is there nature for 1000''s of years.

Finally, there is a sickness within a muslim woman that would tie a bomb around her 8 year old child. It''s the natural tendency for a mother to protect her child. Part of the war is that the clerics call for each mother to have at least one child to be a suicide bomber.

Israel again having to sacrifice for peace

Israel having to prepare for war with Syria is an absolutely necessary action, the fact is that, sooner or later (and the sooner the better), Israel will need to do the same to Syria as what it did to the Iraqi nuclear site.. Destroy it, Israel really has no option.
Having done that, then all hell will break loose in the ME and Israel must prepare for that, especially from the Syrian front. God Bless Israel.
