Britain remains a center for Hamas incitement

Britain has failed to prevent Islamic terror groups like Hamas from using it as a base for media operations, according to an Israeli government report published this week.

The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center survey, which was first reported on by Israel National News, showed that Hamas publishes from London its main monthly magazine, a bi-weekly Internet-based newspaper geared toward children and operates a book publishing firm in the British capital.

The report explained that Hamas chose Britain as a base of operations because of lax British free-speech laws that enable violent Islamic groups to disseminate their message, and because London is home to a large, like-minded Muslim community.

The center warned that by allowing Hamas to operate from London, the British government is endangering not only Israel, but itself as well by allowing Islamic fundamentalists to incite their own Muslim population.
