I just read your post below. Indeed indeed friend Follow the Word and not someone else''s idea. God is well pleased with those who search His Word (KJV) and not mans doctrine. You said you are baptist so they stand for the KJV I believe which gives solid ground upon which one can debate scripture for these other false bibles confuse the masses not "help" them understand better, The Word (Son) is spiritual and thus those who desire to know the scripture MUST become spiritual which means serve God through His Son (Word made flesh) and the Power of God (Holy Ghost) reveals the Word unto His people. Trinity says that God is in 3 "person". Not so The Word made flesh is not a person nor is the power of God (Holy Ghost) a person or individual. So God is not manifested in 3 individuals. For in the dictionary it tells that an individual is "a single or "distinct" person, animal or thing" (Gage dict). The Word (Son) the Holy Ghost (power of God) is not individuals friend. Say what the Word says friend for St John 1:14 plainly says that the Word became flesh not an individual. Which of these two verses are right St John 3:16 or 1 John 3:16. For one thing Glen, you have never heard me on his open line, and second of all, I never once said God''s truth was wrong, but I''ll read it out of the bible for myself and not from some writer. Everyone makes assumptions about the endtime. Some are way out in left field, some have no clue as to what their talking about, and then there are those who hit the nail right on the head. Just so you know though, in an earlier post on here, I did say to go to God''s Word, and not rely on what other''s say, if when in doubt. I''m sorry if I put him down, but in this day and age, you have to be careful with what you read, and I didn''t even make it through the first chapter, because I wasn''t sure if it was truth or not. So I went directly to the bible. I did however fib about tossing it, sorry to all of you (I''m not perfect) and I''ve already asked the Lord to forgive me. Hi Michael, I agree with what you said about Irvin Baxter, but some things he does say is true where the endtime is concerned. I know Pastor Baxter is Pentecostal, and I do disagree with his statement of faith, but when it comes to the endtime, from what I''ve studied & what he''s contributed on his site ... some of it goes hand in hand. The only problem is that he doesn''t believe in the trinity as most Christian''s do. He follows Sabellianism. he doesn''t believe that God is one God in three persons.

The Israelites served one God. Now we have religious teachers expressing since Constanople time teaching God In 3 persons. God is the Father (whose name is Jesus). The Son is the Word made flesh (name also Jesus) and the Holy Ghost is the Power of God which comes in the name of Jesus. So the Word made flesh is not a person neither the Holy Ghost. Why did the Lord Jesus Christ always pray to the Father ? Why did He openly call out to the Father on the cross ?
Why did Jesus tell the Apostles that He would send them a Comforter and If He did not go the Comforter could not come ?
Now if you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ the Truth and the Light of this world , can you explain why He said that there was a God the Father and a Comforter (Holy spirit ) and Himself the Son of God . God is a Triune Being. For Christ declared He and the Father are "ONE" and the Baptism by John the Baptist shows all three: Father saying from Heaven this is my Beloved Son and Holy Spirit of God descending and lighting upon Jesus Christ. Snakehead fish are destroying our natural fish. They are from China area, including Thailand where Giant Snakeheads are. Scripture indeed says that we will be caught up. However we who are followers of Christ will remain here "until" Jerusalem is "taken" not by peaceful means such as a peace treaty. Jerusalem will be taken by force so that means WW3.
Churches teach that the saints will not go through the tribulation period that will occur before Jerusalem is taken. However this is not biblical sound. We are no different than the OT prophet and believers. They went through the trouble that Israel went through and so will we. When Jesus comes AFTER Jerusalem is taken then we are caught up and the Jews who look to Jesus will become the head and not the tail. Rev22:17 should give everyone hope. All are invited by the Spirit (Christ) and the bride to the kingdom. You only need to accept their invitation and leave the things of this world behind. I don''t think that there are many raptures, for differing faiths. I think that there is only one, and I am sure you believe that too. I would prefer to stop any fight over it. Yet there are too many things contingent upon that beginning of the 7 year period having to come first, for me to believe in the rapture happening before it. But IN ANY CASE we must be watching. No matter what, Jesus PROMISED that if we will not watch, we will miss it. That is a negative promise. But He keeps those too.

As for the Seventy Weeks are we actually sure that our reasoning is right on the time line . Did the Jews make an end to their transgressions or seal up prophecy or anoint the Holy one ? No! Did the Jews build Jerusalem to the Messiah the Prince in troubled times ? No they killed Him instead . It would seem that those things did not happen . Did weeks grow into years ? By who''s reasoning . I guess that the 42 Months is really 182 years , and would make the tribulation 364 years long . This treaty is different than the Abrahamic Covenant. Israel needs to be recognized as a state in the middle east, not just by the EU. There will be a sharing of the Temple Mount. Contrary to the opinions cited here, Yechezkel (Ezekiel to you non-Hebrew speakers) provided a general outline of the 3rd Temple, but the G-d of Israel expects human cooperation in contributing to the building of it (both spiritually and physically).

The notion that the Temple is only a spiritual concept rather than a building is false in Torah, since it is the place the Sanhedrin will sit to judge, where sacrifices will be re-instituted and the 3 Jewish festival pilgrimages will be re-started.

Jesus has nothing to do with Jewish practice and orthopraxy since he is a Christian idea, not based on Torah or the Jewish prophets for Israel.
