Israelis to urge Bush to return to the Bible

When US President George W. Bush visits Jerusalem next week he will be unable to avoid the numerous billboards urging him to return to the Bible before making any diplomatic moves that will affect Israel.

A small grassroots organization by the name of Am K'Lavee has secured the billboard space during the American leader's three-day visit to the Israeli capital. The poster that will be put up features a towering Bible in front of Jerusalem's Old City walls with the words "Bush, Read Your Bible - God Gave Israel to the Jews."

Speaking to Israel National News, Am K'Lavee member Tzvi Fishman noted that "America believes in the Bible, and therefore it is totally unreasonable that America and its God-fearing president should act against the Bible, the pillar of Christian faith."

Fishman said his group wants to remind Mr. Bush that God's plan for Israel and the world supersedes his own.
