'Gazans must run for cover, just like Israelis'

Israeli Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter on Monday urged the government to allow the Israeli army to escalate its response to terrorist rocket fire from Gaza.

Dichter noted that more than 3,000 residents have abandoned the battered southern Israel town of Sderot because they are no longer willing to live under siege.

In remarks carried by Israel National News, Dichter said that if the resident of Sderot must scurry for cover on a daily basis, then the residents of Gaza must be made to do the same.

Dichter has for more than a year been advising that the current policy of limited pinpoint strikes against terrorists is insufficient to bring the Gaza rocket fire to an end.

3 .  Do unto others
As they have done to you . Enough restraint . Collect bomb co-ordinates for enemy positions and hit them so hard that they will never attack again . If necessary carpet bomb the whole area .

4 .  You are right Magend it''s business as...
usual for our country when these things hit and what is the response afterward? Ho hum here we go again another storm, ______ or whatever fill in the blank. Then our fellow citizens just ignore the fact that all these things always happen when we mess with Israel in a way that is unBiblical and against God''s Word!
God Bless Israel!
God Bless The Jews!!
God Bless My Brothers And Sisters In Jesus Christ!!!

5 .  To magend
Hi Magend, how are you doing? Glad you''re back, we''ve missed you. And I agree with you, "it is "exciting" to be living in what more and more appears to be the very day of our Lord"!!!!! But, I was just commenting back to Mark, about the recession, that is supposed to be heading our way, and how bad it''s supposed to be. And also, he was talking about because of Bush, how the Lord could "bring a nation to it''s knees." And that it would be scary. And I was, agreeing with him, that it would be scary if, that were to happen, and also, if we were to lose our homes because of it. But, you are right, "it will get much worse before it gets "great." So, we all need to be prepared for what''s ahead, until that Great and Terrible Day of the Lord. God bless you.

6 .  "Unfortunately" Joyce W.
El-Nino, 9/11, Katrina, the California Wild Fires, the Winter Storms, the ferrocious tornadoes etc. etc. etc.
have all been "not signs", but Fed Ex''d warnings from Adonai Elohei Yisrael... that have and I am affraid will continue to go unheeded... but, I do not agree with you that it is scarry, for in my eyes it is "exciting" to be living in what more and more appears to be the very "day of our Lord"!!!!! "It will get much worse before it gets "great"...
His kingdom come!!! His "WILL" be done!!!!

7 .  To Mark N.
Thanks, you''ve made a lot of good points too. And you''ve got, that right about Bush, messing with God''s chosen people, and their land, is definitely sealing Americas doom. And about, his so-called Christianity, that I believe now, was nothing more, than, just a ruse to get elected. Which just proves, what I knew all along, you can''t trust any politician. And oh yeah, I''ve heard about the recession, I sure hope, their just being overly pessimistic, but thanks to Bush, they''re most likely not, it''s probably going to happen. And yes, it is very scary. I just pray, God will get us through it, and that it won''t turn into a depression, and that we won''t lose our homes because of it. God bless you.

8 .  Trust...
As long as Israelis put their trust in God and not on Olmert they are in good hands. Consider: Psalm 91:7-16 and Psalm 4:8. Turn and trust in God of your ancestors...

9 .  Joyce and Emmanuel GOOD POINTS!!
And well said.....

What really stands out..is that Bush is sealing Americas doom by messing with our Lords land and His chosen people....
Thats a NO.NO..
Of course when politics are involved..the Biblical principles he swears he lives by go out he window really fast...DONT THEY??
And by the way..have you all been reading the news about the fear of a terrible recession heading our way??
Our Lord has an arsenal of ways He can bring a nation to its knees..scarry..

10 .  The God of Israel is still on the Throne
Therewill never be a palestinian state in the Land God Gave to the Jews. The God of Israel will not let it to happen. All those who are trying to do this will hurt themselves.
The Spirit of the Lord God of Israel has spoken

Emmanuel   1/15/2008 1:21 PM
11 .  Bush and Olmert Should Learn From This Mistake
They need to run alright, straight out of Gaza, and Israel needs to regain control again. Israel should have never given it away, in the first place. And they definitely shouldn''t divide Jerusalem. Can''t Bush and Olmert see from this failure, that dividing Jerusalem, will never work either. That it will even be a worse disaster than this. Bush just doesn''t care, he''s stupid. but he''s not that stupid. He knows, this land for peace deal, is not going to work. But all, he cares about, is not upsetting his oil buddies the Saudis. Well, he better start worrying about upsetting God, because God is the One, that he should fear. Because Bush, is definitely bringing, the Judgement of God on himself, and America.

You''ve got that right, brother!
That old insane double standard.

13 .  The US is trying to tie Israels hands
As with the US military, our rules of engagement are left to the power hungry politicians in Washington who are in bed with the UN folks.
The US is not allowed to win wars anymore, because it may offend someone or put some other nations sovreignty at stake, but its OK to send American boys to fight someone elses wars at the UN''s command. This is why all this makes me so angry, the US and the good ole boys at the UN are trying to do the same thing to Israels defense forces. Look at the recent battles they had with Hezbollah back 2 years ago, Israel was ordered to stop fighting by who?? Thats right the US and the UN. But it was OK for Hezbollah to keep firing missiles at Israel in the process.
All this is the making of a bad sitation for the US. Its called, Gods judement, and its coming.....

14 .  Gaza 2
These are not men in the accepted form of the world. They should not be given a "state". Look what they''ve done to what they have already. 14 million dollars worth of greenhouses left for them were vandalized within 24 hours of the Isreali withdrawal. Greenhouses that EMPLOYED them the day before. Billions in welfare payments from the civilized world go to a bloated, corrupt, and genocidal "government". But it''s the infidels fault that they turn everything into a cesspool. Infantile.

No, they don''t deserve a state. Not yet anyway. First they need to prove they are capable of joining the civilized world.

t-ham   1/14/2008 9:34 PM
15 .  Gaza
The ridiculous dichotomy that is the "Rules of Engagement" that Israel is forced to operate under, and the majority of the world so shamelessly attempts to ram down Israeli throats, is based on a complete disregard for reality. That is what fuels the religion of perpetual outrage. Deep in their black little hearts they know that their brittle and shaky version of reality is based on lies and twisted facts(and not very good ones). So too, an excavated Jewish coin can cause such foaming, frothing vitriolic ranting, because it puts paid to muslim claims of originality. The screaming obscenities and death threats are proof of the desperate attempts to support fabrications and rewritten history of the most amatuerish nature.
How disgusting, dishonorable, and cowardly is a demand that, in a war, one side can be held to no standards at all and be free to act with impunity against random women and children, while hiding behind women and children, and yet even disciplined professional responses are demonized.
