Israeli minister: We'll destroy Iran if they attack

Israeli Minister of National Infrastructure Benjamin Ben-Eliezer warned on Monday that if Iran attacks the Jewish state, it will suffer widespread destruction as a result.

Speaking at the headquarters for Israel's largest ever national emergency and defense drill, Ben-Eliezer said that "an Iranian attack will prompt a severe reaction from Israel, which will destroy the Iranian nation."

Israel is conducting the massive five-day emergency drill in response to mounting regional threats, including Iran's nuclear program and the Iranian leadership's openly stated desire to eradicate Jewish sovereignty from the region.

On Tuesday, the drill simulated a non-conventional missile strike on Israeli population centers. Defense officials fear that even if Iran itself refrains from firing missiles at Israel, it is supplying a large number of such weapons to its Hizballah proxy in Lebanon.

In related news, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proudly announced on Tuesday that his nation had begun installing an additional 6,000 advanced centrifuges for the enrichment of uranium. Iran already has 3,000 uranium enrichment centrifuges on line.

The enrichment of uranium is a key step in the production of the fissile material needed to build nuclear weapons, a stated goal of the current Iranian leadership.

With my arm, most of the pain was in the upper arm and some pain in the wrist that I attributed to the fact the wrist had been broken twice. Also, when I was driving, or in bed during the night, my arm would go to sleep. Pins and needles sensation. It was strange to me that the problem was in the wrist, but the pain was in the upper arm. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. The human body is a marvel that only an omniscient God could design!

So you say, that you had pain in your armpit, but didn''t you also, have pain in your wrist? Because I don''t have pain all the time in my wrist, except for some occasional aching. But my shoulder and arm, aches all the time, and if I try to use my arm, the pain is so intense, that it brings tears to my eyes, and I can''t even move, till the pain goes away. So, I''m just going, to have to go to the doctor, because obviously it''s not going to get better, and I don''t want, any possible permanent damage, from whatever this is. God bless you.

Hello from France. I had the operation in my left wrist (canal carpian). The same as you I had pain in my left armpit and thought I had a problem with circulation or something like that. My doctor sent me to a nerve specialist, who told me I needed the operation immediately or I risked losing the use of my hand. My hand was beginning to atrophy. The operation was under local anesthesia, and I even watched it all on a screen over the operating table. Its a simple operation, and since then my hand has been fine. Hope all goes well and I will pray for you.

Hi Christine, this is weird, both of us being left handed, and having a problem with our arm and shoulder. My hand bothers me too, it kind of aches, and feels like pins and needles sticking, in my fingers sometimes. But my arm, and shoulder, has the worst pain. And when you said, God must be trying to tell us something, I''ve been thinking the same thing myself lately. Especially, after the year, I had last year with 2 surgeries, and now this, I just hope and pray, I want have to have surgery, with what ever this is. Of course, that''s probably because I''m left handed, and now it''s getting too painful to use. So, I guess I have no choice, but to go to the doctor. Unless, ice works, Charles wants try using ice on my shoulder, before I go to the doctor, to see if it will help. However, there were times in the Bible that God called his people to do battle against evil forces. So, stop trying to talk down to Christians. They have no reason to.
They have said they have no interest in making bombs and are proceding according to the NPT they signed as is proven by all inspections. They have every right to do what they are doing.
