Israeli Arab terror group threatens jihad

An obscure Israeli Arab terrorist organization calling itself the "Galilee Liberation Brigades" has threatened to unleash an unprecedented wave of violence against the Jewish state.

The Galilee Liberation Brigades (GLB) claimed credit last week for a deadly bulldozer attack perpetrated by an Arab resident of Jerusalem. The group also said it was behind the March shooting spree at a Jerusalem yeshiva that left eight young Jewish Bible students dead.

The GLB has previously taken responsibility for the 2003 kidnapping and murder of IDF soldier Oleg Shaichat and the 2007 slaying of Michael Ronkin.

In a weekend interview with the London-based Arabic newspaper Al-Quds Al-Arabi, a man claiming to be the group's leader said the GLB was also responsible for the 2003 disappearance of Dana Bennet, whom the man said is still being held hostage by the group.

Israel has largely refused to recognize the GLB or act against it in any significant way, despite its apparent history of organized ideological violence. The interviewed terror boss said that is a mistake, as his group "seeks to sow terror in the hearts of Zionists," and has already proved itself capable of doing so.

He went on to threaten a new wave of internal terror unlike anything the Palestinian Arabs had hit Israel with, and urged all fellow Israeli Arabs to violently reject the sovereignty and legitimacy of the Jewish state.

1 .  ” There is neither Jew nor Greek…
in Christ Jesus…It is true that all men need God, and all men, without distinction, may have access to God through His Son. But the same scripture says there is neither male nor female – also true. In the Messiah both have equal access to God. But just as male and female exist, so do Jew and no Jew. Nearly every Gentile I have ever met wished to remain a Gentile. Likewise, almost every Jew most emphatically wants to remain a Jew.

2 .  Because it was Abraham''s faith that was pleasing to God.
We who were not born as Jews are true Jews if we have the relationship with God by our faith.

It was to Jews that Jesus said they were of from their father, the devil. It has to do with faith. Everything does.

My intention was that it is faith that drew Abraham near to God, as it is with any and all who truly trust Him.

I cannot believe anyone would speak so bitterly about an historical fact, to a human being with a soul.

3 .  Yes, Abraham was the Father of the Jews
There were no jews in Genesis. Jesus told them very clearly though who their father was in John 8:44!!!
Unless your hate for Him don''t let you believe what He said.

4 .  Yes, Abraham was the Father of the Jews
so, he may not have been called a "Jew" originally, but because God changed his name from Abram and called him to be the father of a great nation bringing him out of Ur of the Chaldees established the Messianiac line through Abraham and established His covenann with him. (Genesis 11, 12,13,14 and on through to 25th ch his history). He is commended for his great faith and his faith imputed to him for righteousness. See also Hebrews 11. FRANK''s post below me is true.

5 .  Abraham
is the father of many nations just as the Bible says.
"As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham for a father of many nations have I made thee. (Gen 17:4,5)
The word Jew comes from the Hebrew Yhudi. One belonging to the tribe or to the kingdom of Judah (2 Kin 16:6 25:25). Then the meaning was extended to anyone of the Hebrew race who returned from the captivity and finally it comprehended any one of that race throughout the world (Esther 2:5 Mt 2:2)
Hope that helps.
God bless Israel

6 .  Amen BKN
When I was on the kibbutz, I worked in the avocados. We did a lot of grafting, in fact all the trees were grafted. And like you said, we are grafted into the olive tree which represents the blessings promised to Abraham''s seed. Though Gentiles do not by faith in Christ, inherit Israel''s particular promises, they do receive the blessing promised to "all families of the earth" (Gen 12:3)
"And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild oliv tree, wert grafted in among them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree," (Rom 11:17)
God bless sister and God bless Israel

7 .  Abraham was not a Jew because
he was the Grandfather of the FIRST JEW!!!! Guess in a sense he was perhaps the FIRST JEW, although he was not called a Jew. God''s promise to Abraham is through the Jewish people to this day, so................wouldn''t that make him the first Jew?

C   7/9/2008 11:05 PM
8 .  BKN
Can you support the statement "Abraham was not a Jew"???
Where did you get that from???

9 .  God''s Holy Spirit is the Interpreter of anything from Him...
..it is neither Jew or Greek, male or female. What is the main basis for spiritual communication between people is God''s love. Not mental gymnastics, or jargon.

God spoke to Abraham, who was not a Jew, and Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness. (Faith comes by hearing God, not any hows or whys or doctrine..though He may use whatever He chooses.)

A true Jew is one who believes God as Abraham did, and obeyed Him. Not the physical, but the spiritual..Jew.

Gentile means heathen. We who are born physically non-Jews are not necessarily...heathens. In our trust and faith in Jesus Christ, God has made us true Jews, inwardly.

Yes, grafted in, like a fruit tree branch can be grafted on to an older root system, and produce the same fruit, "that remains".

BKN   7/9/2008 10:28 PM
10 .  grafted in?
Carol, the verse you refer to doesn''t mean I became a Jew, though I wouldn''t mind. The verse says we have the same root. There is a difference. I partake of the same root.

11 .  EVERY Jew!!!
Needs to join an "ISRAEL Liberation Brigade" - and call me, I''ll lead or follow!!!

Or at least a "Galilee Liberation Brigade - Liberation Brigade"
Draw the hard line, ISRAEL, for goodness sakes - "G-D IS YOUR PROTECTOR!!!!"

12 .  Ben Fox, Where did anyone come against
you so harshly as to deserve the attitude in you last post? I did not read anywhere that you were being castigated in any way. Nobody said you are not saved because you don''t speak Hebrew. Nobody said that salvation is for the Jew only, either. "For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son"....where does that say Jews only? Nobody said you were stupid, either. When I first became associated with Jewish believers,& the Hebrew name of Jesus, I had to get comfortable with all the Hebrew. But as I became comfortable with what I consider to be the Holy Language, it became second nature to me to refer to Jesus as Yeshua, etc. It was never meant as an afront to you, please don''t take it that way. By the way, ALL saved gentiles ARE Jewish in spirit!! We are grafted into the Jewish olive tree, & are therefore JEWISH...so are you if you are His child.

Carol   7/9/2008 4:39 PM
13 .  To Frank
Loved your comments. But as for why Israel lets them stay that''s simple. There is an old saying that goes something to the effect that if you don''t learn from your mistakes in the past you are bound to repeat them. God told Israel long time ago to rid the Land of all their enemies and not to live amongst them. They didn''t listen then and they certainly are not listening now.
Besides all of that the other Arab nations don''t want them.

which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:5

The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) has Christians in their crosshairs. They are lobbying the United Nations to adopt a resolution that would make speaking out against Islam a crime ...

Stand with the ACLJ - and the ECLJ - as we oppose the OIC and put an immediate end to this anti-Christian bigotry. Add your name right now to our PETITION OPPOSING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE.

17 .  I am grafted in the Olive Tree
I am a gentile christian grafted into the Olive Tree (Rom 11). I use Jesus or Yeshua interchangeably, but when speaking to Jews [both saved and unsaved] I try to use Hebrew terms. I am no Hebrew scholar, but I am learning Hebrew little by little. Melody I appreciate you-and Christine as always. Jim

18 .  Wow?
To all my Jewish friends, I guess I have no understanding of Messiah, I use this word, because what I read is if I don''t use your hebrew words and don''t believe the Messiah is yet to come, I must be a Pagan. I would put out my Email and would answer all your hate filled misguided words concerning Christ (sorry english) not hebrew or greek? I don''t put you down but God said they would be blinded for my sake. Thank you God for your love for us stupid gentiles, we didn''t have a clue salvation was for the Jew only. Forgive me that I am not and can never be a Jew by your guideline. Next time I will ask God to confirm with you first. Forgive my lack of Biblical knowlege. Please keep telling everyone about your Godl y interpretation

benfox   7/9/2008 5:57 AM
19 .  Interpretation
As a believer, if I mistook or you believe I was against your words. God and you please forgive me. I''m only sayihg that Hebrew, Greek or English, we hafe the Word of God and those who believe are saved, I don''t believe God told me or any Gentile that he or a Jew is saved by language, but by grace. If I''m wrong would you please tell God to change the gospel. I don''t speak Greek or Hebrew. Am I unsaved?

Jerusalem will not be lost. Jerusalem will be attacked from all sides, but God will defend Jerusalem. Yeshua will return to Jerusalem (The Mount of Olives) and the remnant of His people will return to their Messiah weeping! Baruch Ha ba b''Shem Adonai!

"Jerusalem is lost, Jerusalem is lost."

26 .  I just want to break down
the barriers of communication between Jew and Gentile.

Among born-again believers in Jesus Christ who are closely watching for His imminent return, there is an ever-increasing concern and love for Israel and for Jewish people everywhere.

I am a gentile believer in the Messiah and I truly love the Jewish people more than my own life.

It is so and I cannot and I would not change it!

... could have no appreciation of the word Christ, and because it has no meaning, it can have no relationship. But any Jewish person, whether he agrees with one’s theology or not, knows that the word Messiah-Anointed-One-signifies a coming deliverer, the redeemer of Israel.

WE, who truly love the Jewish people, may we all find a way to “speak clearly”. Gentilized words may be precious to the one witnessing, but they are usually meaningless or worse yet, may arose negative associations within the Jewish heart.
If men have adapted the name of Yeshua HaMashiach to hundreds of languages, should not the Jewish people be free to use the original name of the King of the Jews!

Shalom

28 .  To benfox
I praise the LORD, that by His grace you have lead many people to Christ, both Jew and Gentile.

May the Holy one of Yisrael cause us to walk according to His purpose and in a manner worthy of the calling and let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us to good to all people”. (Galatians 6:9).

You have accused me to play with words! Maybe I didn’t found appropriate words but I didn’t play! I approach the Bible as the WORD OF GOD with the highest respect!

What I tried to say in my last comments is, that different meaning in word interpretation divides from one another. I think we must admit that we couldn’t appreciate a man telling us about the English word Christ if we only understood Chinese. Although he might be explaining the concept correctly, we simply would not understand him.
So, a Jewish person from a Hebrew background could have no appreciation of the word Christ, and

Israel has always allowed Arabs to live in the Land. All Israel asks is that they live in PEACE. There is even Arab representation in the Knesset. How many Jews are allowed in Islamic countries to live in peace. Saudi Arabia? No Jews allowed! I agree with Frank. Arabs must be given their deportation papers now and removed from Israel.

Like roaches they come out of the woodwork, It seems the more you shine a light on them the more there are. The Jew haters can out number the Jews but, they can''t ever win. I am proud to join in with the likes of Frank, BK, Timoteo, C Gill as I can tell they truly love the God of Israel and His Son Jesus Christ. No force in the world can stand against them and the Holy Spirit. One God in three person''s. Not hard to understand with we know that we are made up of three. Body, Soul and Spirit. d in His image. God Bless all of you who love Israel and Gods people.

to move all Muslims out of Israel and send them to Saudi Arabia or any one of the dozens of Islamic Republics. Their koran and the hadiths call for the extermination of the Jews. How can you let them live among you and let them continually try to do just that?
Oh for someone in Israel to take a stand as David:
"Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield but I COME TO THEE IN THE NAME OF THE LORD OF HOSTS, THE GOD OF THE ARMIES OF ISRAEL, WHOM THOU HAST DEFIED.
This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee and I will give the carcasses of the host ofd the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth, THAT ALL THE EARTH MAY KNOW THAT THERE IS A GOD IN ISRAEL." (1 Sam 17:45,46)
There is A GOD IN ISRAEL, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC, and JACOB! TURN TO HIM!
God bless Israel
