Unidentified assailants spray-painted swastikas around a neighborhood in a suburb of Washington, DC where many Israelis live, reported Israel's Channel 10 News.

The incident in Rockville, Maryland occurred over the weekend, and was described by police as a racially-motivated hate crime targeting the large number of Israeli Jews that live in the area.

Earlier this summer, Israeli children living in the neighborhood were physically attacked in what was also described as an anti-Semitic assault.

The Israelis living in Rockville have requested increased security as a result of the attacks.
