Hamas continues stealing humanitarian aid in Gaza

Jordan's Petra news agency reported on Tuesday that a shipment of humanitarian aid from the Hashemite Kingdom to the residents of the Gaza Strip was hijacked by Hamas.

The aid convoy traversed Israel before entering Gaza via the Kerem Shalom Crossing near the Egyptian border.

Shortly after entering Gaza, the trucks were ambushed by Hamas gunmen and forced to proceed to private warehouses where the contents were confiscated.

The UN agency that was supposed to take possession of the aid for distribution has asked that all donors stop sending aid until it can resolve the issue of the seized convoy.

Meanwhile, Israel can be expected to be blamed for the continuing and mounting humanitarian situation in Gaza.
