Clinton: There will be a Palestinian state, Jerusalem will be its capital

Just hours after blaming Hamas and other terror groups for the lack of peace in the region, visiting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signaled that while it may recognize the source of the obstruction, that won't stop the Obama Administration from pushing for the rapid creation of a Palestinian Arab state.

Clinton told reporters in Jerusalem that she and President Barack Obama plan to be "vigorously engaged" in bringing about the birth of "Palestine," adding that "there is no time to waste."

That is likely to put Clinton and Obama at odds with incoming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has refused to commit to the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state, and instead wants to focus on bettering the economic conditions under which the Palestinian Arabs live.

Netanyahu met with Clinton on Tuesday, and indicated in remarks to the press that the two had found some common ground. However, few expect relations between the Obama and Netanyahu governments to be smooth.

On Wednesday Clinton all but guaranteed that her government will clash with Netanyahu's when she suggested in a joint press conference with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas that for Washington, the division of Jerusalem is a foregone conclusion.

Speaking to reporters in Ramallah, Clinton said she was not pleased with the Jerusalem municipality's plans to demolish 80 Arab homes on the city's eastern side that were built without proper permits.

"Clearly this kind of activity is unhelpful and not in keeping with the obligations entered into under the 'road map'," said Clinton. "It is an issue that we intend to raise with the government of Israel and the government at the municipal level in Jerusalem."

Israel, of course, officially rejected those parts of the "road map" peace plan that attempted to equate Israel's sovereignty over the eastern half of Jerusalem to its settlement-building activity in the rest of Judea and Samaria.

Clinton's remarks suggested that the Obama administration does not recognize Israeli sovereignty over the eastern half of Jerusalem any more than it does in the so-called "West Bank."

Observers argued that she also legitimized lawlessness on the part of eastern Jerusalem's Arab populations by suggesting that they are not subject to the authority of the Jerusalem municipality.

In related news, Jerusalem police officials confirmed to WorldNetDaily and Israel National News this week that Palestinian Authority police forces are being permitted to operate on the outskirts of the Israeli capital.

Israeli police have given Palestinian police the green light to take over public security in Arab villages and neighborhoods on the eastern edges of Jerusalem, and Israeli Jews have been warned to now steer clear of those areas.

A growing number of Israeli politicians, including Avigdor Lieberman of the supposedly ultra-right-wing Israel Beiteinu Party, have of late embraced the idea of surrendering the Arab areas of eastern Jerusalem to the Palestinian Authority.

Clinton had best keep her mouth and hindend at home and leave well enough alone to think of dividing the land and capital city of the Jews that Almighty God gave to his chosen people, [the apple of God''s eye]the Hebrew or Jewish people. In Deut.28:1, 13, 15, 37,58-68. Deut 30:3-5 and 6-8 tells the aspect of the holy land and Gods wrath on any who defile his wishes! Exekiel 36: tells of future days. God will curse those who curse Israel and America is being severlly afflicted in finance, weather and catastrophies that might be the reason because Bush was intent on the same roadmap, [to doom] his own! When the time comes, true believers will recognize the antichrist for who he is. There are something like 32 or 37 Biblical identifying marks, and he will meet every one of them.

It is true, we cannot know the day or the hour, but we can know the seasons. We are given in Scripture the things that must first happen, and they are happening all around us. We know that Jesus fulfilled the spring Holidays the first time He came, and that He will fulfill the fall holidays when he comes back again. We can know that the actual Great Tribulation period is 42 months, or 3 1/2 years (Daniel 11 & 12) and not the entire 7 year period of the time of Jacob''s trouble, so therefore in order for the Second coming of Jesus to fulfill the fall holidays, the Gr Trib will begin in the late winter or early spring of a given year. I believe the life lines are already out there, you just have to find them.

When I think of the antichrist, 3 other people seem to be relevant to me.

One is Pharoah who ordered the killing of the Hebrew male babies in the time of Moses''s birth.

The other is Herod who also ordered the killing of the Hebrew male babies at the time of the Magi.

And the other is Herod in Acts 12 (ctd on)

3 "Machiventa" Melchizedek. Melchizedek I know about, but not "Machiventa" and his staff of 100.

4 "He has been named our Planetary Prince" and is in charge.

These sound very strange to me, so cross references will be appreciated.

It''s not just Bill Clinton!!! I believe the last several presidents after Reagan have been in the process of ushering in the antichrist. I believe this muslim in the Whitehouse now will be the final one in the process, too. He is destroying not only this nation but the world economy with his rabid spending plan. There will come a man on the scene who will offer a life line to the world, a way out of termoil. People will run after him, and he will be the antichrist.

When I became a believer in 1992, I experienced a vision within my own home while watching Clinton/Gore on TV while they were in Atlanta, Ga. To make it quick: Clinton was to take a bullet but I prayed no, Lord. Then it was to go to his daughter. Again I prayed, no Lord. Enough blood has been shed. It became silent for what seemed like 30 seconds and then I heard in a directive voice (no longer negotiable) "okay, but he''s going down and he will usher in the anti-christ."

This one is regarding Prince Charles and the possibility he is the antichrist.
He meets nearly all of the Biblical criteria for the position of AC, from his name equaling 666 to his leinage tracing back to David to the red dragon and much more. I wuld never say he definately is the AC, but it is interesting to read. There is also a stature (life sized) of him with wings in Brazil which proclaims him to be ''savior of the world''. Over the last probably 15 years, many have come to believe he fits the criteria. There is much on the internet about it, and apparently about this Javier fellow as well.

I googled Javier Solana out of curisoity. It comes up with Javier Solana, antichrist, 666, Barack Obama, all sorts of things, and not good things. I haven''t read any of the articles yet, though.
Sometimes people will post something like James did, then you never hear from them again, so you may or may not hear from him again.

It is my conviction that the Lord''s temple (those born again of the Holy Spirit) are linked to Israel in this way.

Whatever seems to be happening to Israel in the natural earthly realm, happens to the body of Christ in the spiritual realm. When you see Israel surrounded by her enemies, at the same time, we will also be surrounded by ours (as is happening now).

It is relevant to note that at the lower echelons the freesmasons claim to worship God, in fact, they allow all religions in at the lower end. But at the top they worship "Jubalon", a composite false god -

If the freemasons are involved in the building of the third temple then Ezekiel 8: 10 will happen again.

"I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it THE CITY WILL BE CAPTURED, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city WILL GO INTO EXILE, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city." Zechariah 14: 2

"Then the LORD will go out and FIGHT AGAINST THOSE NATIONS, as He fights in the day of battle." Zechariah 14: 3

Re the Lord standing on the Mount of Olives:

"....On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost. It will be a UNIQUE DAY, without day time or night time - a day known to the Lord. When evening comes, there will be light." Zechariah 14: 6 - 7

Re the New Jerusalem: "....The wall was made of jasper and the CITY OF PURE GOLD, AS PURE AS GLASS....." Revelation 21: 18

The Millennium will have a beginning and an end. It will last 1,000 years just after the second coming of Christ. The word comes from 2 greek words: Mille (thousand) and Annum (year). Revelation 20 records its beginning with Satan bound and cast into the bottomless pit (vv. 1,2). The curse of sin will be removed and Christ will Rule and Reign here on the restored earth. It ends with Satan''s release from the pit, and he starts a rebellion against Christ by every nation on earth (vv.7-9). Those mortal people who have not accepted Christ at that time will throw in their lot with Satan and will be destroyed by fire from heaven.

He is very serious about the "socialistic" viiews of Obama, but he is also very funny in the manner he questions and mocks our government now.He''s brash, loud, and deeply committed to family values. And Bert, I do know who who Paul Anka is! I am a "grandmother" now, but I was a grandmother at 38.
I have a son younger than my first grandschild.! Is that too funny or what? Now don''t go guessing ages!

Does that mean then that when Jesus comes to rule in the Millennium (and I am only going on what I have heard here - I do not have any revelation on the Millennium) it will not be the Eternal Kingdom, but Jesus will be ruling over the nations as they are now?

And does that mean that the NEW JERUSALEM, the Heavenly City of God, described in such beauty and glory in Revelation, comes afterwards?

32 .  CMO - THE LORD RETURNS TO THE TEMPLE
Ezekiel 43 also says "The GLORY OF THE LORD entered THE TEMPLE through the gate facing east. Then the SPIRIT lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD FILLED THE TEMPLE." Ezekiel 43: 4 - 5

The vision Ezekiel had of the return of the Glory of the Lord Ezekiel 43: 1- 3), was the same as that in Chapter 1 and similar to Chapter 10 (WHEN THE GLORY OF THE LORD LEFT THE TEMPLE) ie the Cherubim and the whirling wheels, (Ch 10: 13).

Just something I noticed - the faces of the Living Creatures were described differently in Chapter 1 and Chapter 10.

Chapter 1 - the Living Creatures - "Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a MAN, and on the right side, each had the face of a LION, and on the left, the face of an OX each also had the face of an EAGLE." (v 10)

Chapter 10 - the Cherubim - "Each of the Cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a CHERUB, the second the face of a MAN, the third the face of a LION, and the fourth

These are difficult passages. Many Bible Teachers say these sacrifices mentioned are commemorative. I disagree. The expressions "BLOOD" in 43:18 and "FOR A SIN OFFERING" in 43: 19, 21, 22 can ONLY BE Propitiatory (sin atoning) sacrifices and not commemorative. In a literal sense it speaks of sacrifices made in past temples (Solomon & Herod''s). I think it is a brief interlude, "looking back" to the functions of past temples, even though the Millennial Temple is in view here (ch''s 40 and on). In Christ''s coming Kingdom on earth there will be no need for a sin sacrifice. It is FINISHED! These are my thoughts.

Ezekiel 43 describes another Temple. It looks very much like the Millennium Temple when Jesus returns to rule from Jerusalem and comes in through the East Gate. I have to confess, I am not an expert on Millennium prophecies. I think this is what Jim Borge and BenFox say.

However, this does not sound to me like the NEW JERUSALEM of Revelation.

America is going to be judged for voting in bozos who insist on meddling in God''s affairs! I thought I had seen the last of the Clintons but, by George, they''re still around and being allowed to lead us down the path to instruction. Ezekiel 8 is fascinating but I do not see two temples. The first Temple was filled with idolatry in the worship of carved images of creatures, Sun worship, and worship of the Babylonian God Tammuz, husband of Ishtar. Nothing real definant stands out as end time senario like places in Daniel, Isaiah, Psalms.

Israel spanked severely for carved images. They ceased activities in second Temple. Second Temple did not have ark so the Third does not have to have it. But if they do find I believe God may wisk away at abonimation that causes desolation.

I will wait and see, have not formed a definate stand for inadaquate revelation in Word of God.

After reading Ezekiel 8, I feel puzzled by the two temples mentioned and the significant fact that the Glory left and the Glory came back. Also, that the Ark seems to be the one thing the third Temple builders are eagerly searching for, although I am convinced it is in Heaven.

The signinficance of the Ark is that whoever had the Ark, had victory in battle because God''s power went with it. That was at God''s command, not men''s commands. But now men are looking for the Ark. It will do them no good - it is God they should be looking for and that through Jesus Christ.

Are you saying then that the Temple the Lord is showing Ezekiel in Chapter 8 is Solomon''s Temple? And that Chapter 8 describes the GLORY OF THE LORD leaving that Temple?

In Ezekiel Chapter 43 the Glory of the Lord returns to the Temple and then 43: 13 describes sacrifices on the altar. If Chapter 43 is about the Second Coming then which iTemple is being described.

Then what happened with the Temple that Jesus attended as a young boy?

I suppose we shouldn''t get too caught up in prophecy because when the right time comes, THE LORD''S PROPHECIES WILL BE FULFILLED, but it is odd to me that there are no cross references in Ezekiel.

Ez. chapter 8 has nothing to do with our present day. It has nothing to do with the tunnels under the Temple Mount. There is no "secret worship" being conducted there. There are only continuous tours ongoing. Ezekiel was taken captive to Babylon (597 BC), and Ezekiel 8 records that he was given a vision and transported in spirit to the Temple in Jerusalem and was shown pagan idolotry being conducted in the Lord''s House. It was further justification for God to allow the Babylonians to destroy the Temple shortly afterward in 586 BC. For us, this is an historical account. We must not apply these Scriptures in CH 8 to our day, or we will come up with some crazy interpretations. This is already happening.

Ezekiel Chapter 10 talks of the THE GLORY OF THE LORD LEAVING THE TEMPLE.

Which Temple is Ezekiel talking about?

DANIEL 9:27 SAYS: " In the middle of the seven, he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on one WING OF THE TEMPLE, he will set up AN ABOMINATION THAT CAUSES DESOLATION." This is what Jesus referred to when HE spoke of the abomination that causes desolation.

Regardless of whether Jim is right or wrong, the puzzle to me is that I cannot find cross references against Ezekiel Chapter 8 and Ezekiel Chapter 10 to other TEMPLE Scriptures. I would expect to find either references to the Temple in Jerusalem in Jesus''s days on earth, destroyed by the Romans, or to the Abomination that causes desolation yet you would think the GLORY OF THE LORD LEAVING THE TEMPLE would be significantly cross referenced.

I am using the NIV. Can anyone find Temple cross references in their versions?

Nor can I find any cross references to DANIEL or the Gospels.

I was just listening to a study today from a Messianic perspective. He was teaching about the alef & tov & it''s placement in the OT. In case you haven''t heard of this, alef is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and tov is the last.

There is a building they say it is in, and they guard it 24/7. I have also heard of some who think it is in a cave behind the palistinian bus station in Jerusalem, and also about it being somewhere in the labriths under the Temple Mount. One thing is for sure, when God wants it''s whereabouts known, He will let us know!

What a coincidence, I have just read Ezekiel Ch 8 and you mentioned Zephaniah Ch 1. They both mention Molech worshipping and Baal worshipping.

I looked it up on a search and saw these PAGAN worshippers made a statue of Molech and built a fire in it then made their first born children pass through the fire as a sacrifice or lay them across the arms which became hotter and burned them slowly. How horrible.

No wonder GOD was ANGRY and destroyed them.

But thank God there is the remnant which has not bowed the knee to Baal.

I just read Isaiah 65:17-20. It starts with ''behold I a new heavens & a new earth...then vs 20, ''No longer wil there be in it an infant who lives but a few days or an old man who does not live out his days, [live out his days, as in dies at a ripe old age??] for the youth will die at the age of 100 & the one who does not reach the age of 100 shall be thought accursed.''

Any thoughts? I always thought there would be no more death, yet these verses speak of death.

Yes, Jesus was our perfect sacrifice and no, we don''t need sacrifices for our sin any longer. That being said, I do not think it wise to speak against God''s Alter. It is His mark on the earth. As for sacrifices, not all were for sin. The morning and evening sacrifices were not sin offerings. I do not understand the significance of the alter in the future. But I do not know that it is not sifnigicant to God. so I will just be quite about it.

Who are we to tell Israel ANYTHING. God not the world reestablished the State of Israel and whether the heathen wish to acknowledge it or not is irrelevant! God put into the hearts of man do this according to prophecy. Israel was scattered and called back to their land. It is THEIR LAND- ALLLLL OF IT-every square inch of it even the Temple Mount-no, ESPECIALLY the Temple Mount. Regardless of the long abscence, land ownership was always God''s and He gave it to Israel. The peoples who lived on it after they were scattered were pretenders and squatters on Holy Ground.

Can anyone tell me why the Arabs think they have a claim on Jerusalem? Really. I don''t know.

Why don''t they carve out a state in Jordan where they were before the 6 day war? Before they were told to get out of the way so the Jews could be driven into the sea, which failed, and then the Palestinians were not allowed to go back to Jordan. It''s all history.

I would love to see Mrs. Clinton tell Jordan to let them back in, or tell China to be nice and leave Taiwan alone. Or tell Russia to leave the Baltics alone. But she won''t because the U.S. only messes with countries they think they have power over.

Wake up Israel! Wake up Bibi! Look at your Torah and get on your face and on your God''s side. He will fight for you. Tell Mrs. Clinton to get back on her plane and never again bring her manipulations onto the soil of God''s land.

In many respects I agree with you. I guess I still have a glimmer of hope. I know that there are many who like me would rather fight a war to ptrotect the freedoms we have rather than to submit to socialism even if it means that many states in the proclaim sovreignty from the US government. many states have this on going in their legislation, 20-25 at last count. But saying is one thing, doing is another. butthis man has been president 40 something days and look at the stock market and the legislation so far not to mention the out of control spending that is in my opinion bankrupting the US. Sooner or later, and I PRAY, Americans are going to say enough is enough.This man has to be stopped.Even many who I know voted for him are regretting now what they did. And I beleive as time passes many more are going to wake up and smell the roses, at least lets PRAY that happens for Americas sake.
