Tractor terror returns to Jerusalem - 2 wounded

An Arab terrorist manning a massive earthmoving bulldozer attacked a police car and attempted to slam into a bus full of schoolchildren on Thursday near Jerusalem's Malha Mall.

The attack began with the tractor hitting and pushing a police car about 100 feet. The two officers in the car were lightly wounded.

The tractor driver then spotted the bus and tried to ram it, but was stopped just short by a metal electrical pole. An alert and armed taxi driver and another nearby police officer then opened fire on the terrorist, fatally wounding him. He died a short time later.

Medical rescue crews had to treat most of the children aboard the bus for severe shock.

The attack brought the horror of tractor terror back to Jerusalem, which was subjected two far more bloody rampages by Arab construction workers-turned-terrorists last year:
