Europe decries Israel's 'illegal' takeover of Jerusalem

An internal European Union document obtained by Reuters this week accuses Israel of illegally taking over the eastern half of Jerusalem and then discriminating against its Arab residents.

The document, which is dated December 15 of last year, says that Israel has accelerated its "illegal annexation" of Jerusalem in order to keep the city united under Israeli sovereignty as part of any peace settlement.

News of the document came just days after visiting US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton indicated that the Obama Administration also does not recognize Israel's sovereignty over the eastern half of Jerusalem.

During a press conference with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah last Wednesday, Clinton blasted the Jerusalem municipality for daring to act against illegal Arab construction in the Israeli capital.

The European document also claimed that Israel practices systematic discrimination against Jerusalem's Arab population by not letting them build wherever and whenever they please, and by subjecting them to security checks.

The report failed to note that Arab residents of Jerusalem have carried out a number of bloody terrorist attacks against the city's Jewish residents over the past year.

An Israeli government source told Ha'aretz that the grumbling from Europe has been accompanied by increasing pressure from the Obama Administration over plans to build more Jewish homes on lands claimed by the Palestinians.

The source said that Israel has received four messages from Washington over the past month demanding explanations for plans to build more homes in the Judean towns of Ma'aleh Adumim and Efrat and a decision to solve the problem of one so-called "illegal" settlement by moving it within the municipal boundaries of an officially authorized settlement.

While in Israel you can''t help to notice that all the so called Holy sites have a catholic church on them? Ever wonder why? Without the Lord''s Life, our lives are like an apple. Beautiful, perfect, full of life. Sitting on the counter, it begins to rot from the inside out, usually. Then it is ready to be tossed into the garbage. Without His life, which is eternal, inner decay is inevitable.

What we see in all the Systems, is that the "rot" is beginning to show. It was there all along, it is just beginning to..."stink".

All things are right on time. Because we may not have seen it, or we were blocked by believing in the World, makes no difference. What is happening is certainly no surprise to God.

His plan is on time. We need to be IN His plan. We are either with the "fruit that remains", or the one tossed into the "garbage".

Re jaroslav, i don''t think he is JW for a couple of reasons. One is JWs dont'' keep Sabbath. the other is they eat pork. Jar speaks against eatting pork and he claims to keep Sabbath. 7th day adventists are a cult and they keep Sabbath. I don''t know about the pork issue with them though. Some people just don''t eat pork because of the fat and disease issues.
I''m NOT defending him in his insane religious notions about Jerusalem or muslims or any of his other heresies, just that he is not JW, at least not like any JW I have ever known, and I have known several, even related to a few distantly.
