Israel attacked several targets in Sudan, with drones

Additional details of Israel's reported attack on arms convoys in Sudan earlier this year have been published by London's Sunday Times.

According to the newspaper, which cited unnamed Israeli defense sources, three separate arms convoys were bombed in Sudan during the recent Gaza war. The sources said that unmanned aerial drones, or UAVs, were used in all three strikes.

The convoys were said to be carrying long-range Iranian-made missiles to the Gaza Strip, from where they could easily hit Tel Aviv.

The cross-border aerial raid was first reported last week by CBS News. Sudanese officials confirmed that at least one convoy had been attacked on their soil, but one government minister claimed that the strike had been carried out by American forces.
