Palestinians threaten to declare statehood with UN backing

Despite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's repeated requests to restart direct peace talks, senior Palestinian officials at the weekend declared that Israel does not want to reach an accord, and threatened to unilaterally declare Palestinian independence.

"Israel is continuing the occupation and is not prepared to return to the negotiating table," chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat told Israel's Army Radio. "We're fed up with your time-wasting. We don't believe that you really want a two-state solution."

Netanyahu has in fact implemented a freeze on all new building in Judea and Samaria, the so-called "West Bank," a move US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised as unprecedented and certainly not a precondition for peace talks.

Erekat said the Palestinian Authority is considering approaching the UN Security Council about recognizing a Palestinian declaration of independence in all of Judea and Samaria and the eastern half of Jerusalem.

Netanyahu was expected to reject that initiative at a conference in Jerusalem on Sunday, where sources said he would remind the Palestinians that such a declaration would be opposed, both diplomatically and on the ground, despite UN backing.

This commandment forbids misrepresenting the
truth in relations with others.

It also includes all forms of lashon ha-ra (sins relating to speech,

But the good news is that in Ezekiel 36 He will take away their hearts of stone and give them hearts of flesh, and He will write His law on their hearts. This is the new covenant. Jeremiah speaks about it.

Now, the blood of Jesus. It could only qualify to wash away sins if Jesus was sinless.

Do you know of a single instance in which Jesus sinned against the Law? (not against rabbinic tradition)? If you are to find one, you will have to be very cleaver.

I dare you to study the life of Jesus in the Bible and find one sin documented.. Remember, a sin against the Law and not the traditions of Judiasm. See if you can find any inconsistencies between the life of Jesus, (His words and deeds) and the word of God.

Israel is not eligible to be the Messiah because of its sin stained history, and it has nothing to offer God as a sacrifice sufficient to pay for even the smallest of all sins throughout all history. It is arrogance and self-deception to think otherwise.

God exalts His word above His name, and we all know how sacred His name is. How is it that intellectual honesty and critical thinking and discernment are not allowed to be employed when searching the Scriptures?

If we look at the historical rabbinic Judaism, we see an evolution of accretion of tradition which makes the word of God of no effect to the point that the plain sense of the word of God cannot mean what it says at face value. It has even become so corrupted from what it once was that when the Lord called Israel out of Egypt, He said, ‘You obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people’. Israel did not obey God’s voice. He instead gave them tablets of stone with the Law written on it to match their hearts of stone. But

Now here’s the nut of the problem: Israel needs a savior. Israel has never stopped following false gods from Egypt. Read Ezekiel 20, the sad truth of the history of Israel. Even to this day, Jews are worshiping a false god fashioned after their own image on an alter of tradition. Their tradition has supplanted the word of God.

We are told that by the suffering of Israel the nations would be healed, but that has not been witnessed in history. Just ask the Assyrians, the Babylonian, and the Romans if you could find one. With healing like that, who needs the treatment? Israel nationally needs the Savior. Israel is not the Savior. It is ludicrous and ridiculous to suggest that the nation resurrected from the dead, born in a day being led back into the land as a shepherd leads the sheep by the Messiah is the same Messiah. Yes, the real issue amongst all these points is the blood of Jesus: Does the blood of Jesus atone for sin or does it not?

Of course you would say no, for the blood of a mere man cannot atone for sin.

And I would agree that the blood of a mere man cannot atone for sin. The question is really in two parts: A. Is Jesus a mere man? And is Jesus eligible to be the Messiah? B. Is Israel sinless, and is it eligible to be the Messiah?

The Bible says that all have sinned: there is none righteous, no, not one, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. The problem that some modern rabbinic interpretations have is that some of the rabbi’s would declare that Israel, or a righteous remnant of Jews or some derivation of either are the Messiah. If Israel gives the Golan Heights to Syria, what will Hezbollah do then? The Golan Heights are a strategic position overlooking ISRAEL. That will surely bring a war on by Hezbollah.

The Palestinians'' lives could easily be helped if the surrounding Arab nations gave the Palestinians citizenship - but they will not.

The thing the Arab nations fear the most is the formation of the nation ISRAEL - the homeland of the Jews.

Consequently they WILL NOT ALLOW THE PALESTINIANS OUT OF GAZA because that will mean the UNHINDERED establishment of ISRAEL.

So the Arab nations will not take the Palestinians in. They HAVE TO keep them there to hinder the formation of ISRAEL. Pity and pray for the Palestinians (not the bulls of Bashan) because they are just being USED AS A WEDGE by the terrorists and the Arab nations and they have NOWHERE TO GO.

The anser to peace in the area is for the ARAB STATES TO TAKE THEM IN.

Which is more culturally coherent: “They pierced my hands and my feet”, or “Like a lion my hands and my feet”? There mere fact that one has to fabricate and add words to the verse for it to make sense is evidence that it is not what they want it to be. I think that is called tampering or mistranslating.

Moreover, the rebuttals saying that it could not be “pierced” because of the middle Aleph is only accepted by those who do not know Hebrew. Such tactics follow the teaching of Adolph Hitler: “If you tell a lie long enough, loud enough and often enough, the people will believe it.” (The Third Reich at War, page 38). He also said, “People are more likely to believe a big lie than a small one”.

I do pray that the love of the truth is found in you and you will honestly consider the evidence without prejudice.

I also pray that you do not resist the calling of the Lord and the leading of His Spirit.

This verse in Psalm 22 is well known for it’s disputed reading. So, to make dogmatic statements that do not present both sides of the argument is disingenuous if not out right deceitful. Such behavior betrays the weakness of the argument in favor of it being KAARI, like a lion.

All we can do is look at the evidence.

The net difference is a stroke length of one character. There are texts showing it both ways. The one’s showing it in favor of it being pierced were written by Jewish scribes before anyone would ever have a reason to try to make it controversial.

Which is more culturally coherent: “They pierced my hands and my feet”, or “Like a lion my hands and my feet”? There mere fact that one has to fabricate and add words to the verse for it to make sense is evidence that it is not what they want it to be. I think that is called tampering or mistranslating.

I have to be very quick again. I’ll be attending to some commitments for the next day or two, but I will respond to each of the points you made, and I will make it a priority. I will try to keep in order with your responses as much as possible, but I thought I would just give a quick answer to the response about Psalm 22.

This verse in Psalm 22 may have acquired the word KAARI meaning “like a lion” in the last 1900 years by someone who wanted to try to cause confusion about the identity of Jesus in the Scripture, but it certainly did not read KAARI “like a lion” when the Scripture was originally written.

How do I know, you may ask, and so you should. Do not believe me, believe the word of God.

Let us examine what is in dispute about this passage and what the verifiable evidence teaches us.

But first, a severe warning from the Lord about how we approach His word:

Notice also how king David is using the animal motif to describe his
enemies in the verses immediately
before and after Psalm 22:17(16).

In the surrounding verses of Psalm 22:17(16), the Psalmist looks to God for deliverance from his enemies whom he identifies as a – lion and a dog.

And David said unto Saul: ''Thy servant kept his father''s sheep, and when there came a lion, or a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock,

I went out after him,
and smote him,
and delivered it out of his mouth,..

Thy servant smote both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath taunted the armies of the living God.'' 1 Samuel 17:34-36

שִׁוִּיתִי עַד-בֹּקֶר כָּאֲרִי Isaiah 38:13

In the immediate context of this verse Hezekiah, the king of Judah,
is singing a song for deliverance from his grave illness.

In the midst of his supplication he exclaims in Hebrew Notice that
the last word in this phrase (moving from right to left) is the same Hebrew word kaari that appears in Psalm 22:17.

In this Isaiah text, the King James Version correctly translates these words "I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, ..." ("Like a lion", NKJ)

Psalm 22:17 is the only place in all
of the Jewish scriptures that
any Christian Bible translates KAARI as "pierced."

would never use the Hebrew word kaari. Instead, he would have written either DAGAR or RATZA,

which are common Hebrew words in the Jewish scriptures.

Needless to say, the phrase "they pierced my hands and my feet" is
a Christian contrivance that appears nowhere in the Jewish scriptures.

The word KAARI כָּאֲרִי can be found
in a number of other
places in the Jewish scriptures.

Yet predictably, the same Christian translators who rendered KAARI as "pierced" in Psalm 22 correctly translated it "like a lion" in all other places in the Hebrew Bible where this word appears.

into the last clause of this verse is a not-too-ingenious Christian interpolation that was crea-ted by deliberately mistranslating the Hebrew word KAARI as "pierced."

The word kaari, כָּאֲרִי does not mean "pierced," it means "like a lion."

The end of Psalm 22:17, therefore, properly reads "like a lion
they are at my hands and my feet."

הִקִּיפוּנִי כָּאֲרִי, יָדַי וְרַגְלָי.

If you have a problem with the English translation, “They pierce my hands and my feet”, then your problem is with the best of the best Hebrew scholars from nearly three centuries before Jesus was crucified - seventy of them. Your teacher may not even have Hebrew as his first language, nor may he even be native born.

The irrational supernatural hatred of some toward Jesus has caused some to corrupt the Bible into different versions of a Jewish Bible. The Dead Sea scrolls and the Septuagint have shown the embarrassing changes that have been made to try to hide the identity of Jesus in the Scripture.

The English translation of Psalm 22:16, “They pierced my hand and my feet” is accurate, and its meaning is a matter of incontrovertible history. The critical point for you is how will you respond to the truth of God’s word as He reveals His Son, Jesus to you?

Just a quick note for right now.

The Lord used David and his life in a great many ways as a model of the King of Israel to come. The Lord speaks to us through types and models. That Jesus spoke these words from the cross is not in dispute. This was a common way for a rabbi to point his students to a psalm or passage of Scripture.

If by Jewish Scriptures you mean Hebrew texts from the dead sea scrolls or the Septuagint which was translated from Hebrew into Greek roughly 270 years before Jesus was born of Mary, then you may want to reconsider from whom you receive your teaching. The following is the English transliteration of the Septuagint for Psalm 22:16.

1. In my mind Ezekiel 38 is different from the Ezekiel 36 destruction which appears to me to be a glimpse at Zechariah 12. In typical fashion, the Lord gives the panoramic overview in Ezekiel 36. The principals are very different from each other in the two events.

2. The Rosetta Stone of prophecy is the statement, "Then they shall know that I am the Lord". Working with that one can establish an order of events. Specific timing can be determined to a great degree through an handful of passages.

So, Palestine declares statehood, and hits Israel. Israel pushes back and also hits Iran''s nuclear facility. Things escalate with Iran. Turkey begins supporting Syria. Meanwhile there is a worldwide oil crisis Obama pulls troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq and fails to support Israel in the war, because there is no money in the budget and China will not foot the bill any longer. The dollar crashes. With Russia invading the northern borders Israel has to go nuclear and nukes Damascus and Russia is destroyed by the direct intervention of God. Russia is defeated, Syria and Turkey are defeated, and the Palestinians lose total control of Palestine. This all happens outside of the Tribulation. the United States is left severely weakened by her economy (or lack of it). The UN steps in with a Covenant agreement with Israel that grants her the right to build the Temple.

Yes, lightning fast vast changes will occur. The next step will very likely be the Exekiel 36 / Zechariah 12 war. Also, in Revelation, John encourages Christians to focus on and keep their eyes on Jesus always, who will reward the faithful when we finally meet Him face to face, and to obey his Word to the end He has chosen for us. When you feel tired and weak and like giving up, remember the glory that awaits you as a child of God.

We all know from prophecy that Israel enters into a Covenant with "many" from Daniel 9. We all know that there must be a temple built before the anti-Christ stands in it declaring himself to be god. Israel must be given the right to build such a temple. The question is. What must Israel trade to the world and to the Palestinians in order for Israel to be given permission to build? Perhaps Jerusalem itself will be relinquished to the UN to become an international city? Perhaps they would allow Jerusalem to become capital of the Palestinians. I can not think of any other "deals" that could be made. Somehow the Covenant will grant Israel such authority to build the Temple, even though the Arabs will hate the idea. Any comments?

If it were that plausible, then ANYONE could gather a group of like minded people, reject the nation''s laws and sovereignty they currently live in, and declare their own independence...it''s called tribalism. It is actually a digression of society - which would only result in the splitting up of more groups into opposing factions, who would eventually war against each other for more tribal territory.
In a civilized society, people collect together into neighborhoods, who share similar ethnic backgrounds, but it does not give them the right to become territorial, to the extent of declaring an independent statehood.

Everything is falling into place for the start of WW3. I beleive it will start in the Middle East, around Israel. All the world will be pulled into it. Just a matter now of who fires the first shot. Russia and Turkey will march on Isreal to enforce the new "state" and the U.S., under Obama, will sit by and do nothing. Isreal will be forced to use nukes. Pretty exciting.

Without the Lord''s intervention in declaring loud and clear that there is NOT and never will BE a country by the name Palestine, I fear that His retribution against the Palis will be most severe. In fact the Good Book tells us that fact. I fail to understand why all those arabs in the West Bank... Israeli land ..... don''t move home to their respective arab countries to be with their own brethren. Are they SO THICK that they can''t read the writing on the wall? Time for these people is extremely short now.
