Take a stand against the “fire-kite terrorism”!
Trees for the south
Each spring countless red anemones turn the landscape of southern Israel into a beautiful sea of red-waving flowers. The phenomenon is called “Darom Adom – Red South”. Far too many of the nature reserves in southern Israel have fallen victim to the fire-kite terrorism that has originated from Gaza this year. Not to mention the numerous late spring harvests that have been destroyed affecting the livelihood of many of the kibbutz members in the Western Negev.
More than 1000 fires have destroyed more than 3000 hectares of agricultural fields, pastures, trees and at least 200 beehives. To transform the Israeli landscape adjacent to the Gaza Strip back into a “Darom Adom”, the local residents need your help right now! Help the anemone fields bloom again and bees find food!
The ecosystem urgently needs to be renewed especially sources of nectar and beehives!
