About our teacher Iris

I graduated with honors from the Hebrew University with a degree in the Hebrew language. In addition, I hold a teaching certificate for Hebrew as a foreign language from the university’s Rothberg International School.

For the past three decades I have held Hebrew teaching positions (beginners & advanced levels) which include the following:

  • The Rothberg school (1990s)
  • At private groups in Los Angeles (1990s while on relocation)
  • Youth and adult immigrants from the former USSR
  • Adult immigrants from Ethiopia and France
  • Diplomats from the Vietnamese embassy in Tel-Aviv
  • Multiple groups of Arab speakers

I am highly proficient in Biblical Hebrew from years of experience teaching content and grammar editing at various institutions for public sector employees, where much of the language originates from Jewish sources.
