Trump: I Could Be Prime Minister of Israel, Easy

In his typical fashion, the American leader reportedly said that nearly all Israelis would vote for him

Donald Trump boasted at a closed event at Mar-a-Lago to RNC donors that if he had run for prime minister of Israel, he would win easily.

There are no recordings of the event because the Republican supporters were required to place their cell phones in magnetic pouches at the door. President Trump talked off-script about how much the citizens of Israel love him. "If I could run in the elections there, I would have won 98 percent of the votes," Trump said, according to the Axios website.

"I do not understand how the Jews can vote for the Democrats," Trump reportedly continued, referring to American Jewry whose longstanding support for Democrats is waning. “This is a party that hates the Jewish people,” Trump went on to the cheers of the largely Christian Republican crowd.

Trump also recalled the antisemitic statements made by the Democratic Congresswoman of Somali origin, Ilhan Omar, who suggested that supporters of Israel were loyal to the Jewish state, and not the United States. The Muslim congresswoman also said that US politicians supported Israel only because AIPAC paid them money as bribes.

According to reports from the event, Trump revealed some new characterizations about his potential rivals in the 2020 presidential race. He called Joe Biden “The Dummy” and told his listeners that he had decided to call Bernie Sanders “The Nutty Professor,” instead “Crazy Bernie.” Referring to Elizabeth Warren's low poll numbers, Trump said that he "took her out really early" and that he doesn't want to do that to anybody else, meaning he thinks it will be an easy win against the current candidates.
