What would hiking almost 100 miles across the desert have to do with me? Nothing, right?

In fact, walking that far over difficult terrain sounds more like a nightmare than an adventure! Especially without any modern amenities, like a daily warm shower and a comfy bed. Instead of relaxing in one’s living room after a hard day, imagine sitting around a campfire and having your clothes stinking of smoke. No thank you!

I never even imagined participating in something like this. Such hikes are just not for me. They are for people who are physically-fit and up to extreme challenges.

My husband always tells me, “Anat, it’s a head thing!”

We all have hidden capabilities within us that we never discover because we will not accept the challenge. We have to dare to come out of our comfort zone.
