Throughout the world, anti-Israel sentiment is on the ascent. For quite some time, UNESCO has considered the Western Wall, the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Rachel’s Tomb to be “Palestinian” holy sites, thus denying the eternal Jewish connection to them. For many years, UN report after UN report has declared Israel to be an occupying power in Judea and Samaria, East Jerusalem and Gaza, even though the Palestinian Authority has autonomy in parts of Judea and Samaria and Israel withdrew from all of Gaza.
In fact, Russia and far too many other countries in the UN believe that the butcher Bashar Al Assad and not Israel should rule the Golan Heights, despite the grave genocide committed by the Syrian government. The UN routinely passes anti-Israel resolutions without blinking an eye. According to UN Watch, the Special Rapporteur on Palestine Francesca Albanese is an anti-Israel activist who “equates Palestinian suffering with the Nazi Holocaust.”
