The Israel Air Force on Wednesday destroyed the last operational aircraft belonging to the Houthi terrorist organization at the international airport in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a. The targeted airstrike was part of a series of military operations with which Israel responded to repeated attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis.
“The message is clear: Those who fire on the State of Israel will pay a high price,” said Defense Minister Israel Katz after the operation. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the destroyed aircraft had been used by the Houthis to transport terrorists – presumably with the aim of preparing attacks against Israel.
A short while ago, the IDF struck the main airport in Sana’a and aircraft belonging to the Houthi terrorist organization.
The targeted aircraft were used by the Houthi regime to transport terrorists who were planning attacks against the State of Israel.

The Air Force had already struck similar targets in Sana’a on May 6. Katz announced that Israel’s attacks on strategic Houthi infrastructure would continue. “Yemen’s ports will continue to be severely hit, and the airport in Sana’a will be repeatedly destroyed,” he said. He also emphasized the continuation of a naval and air blockade against Houthi positions.
The IDF reiterated that the attacked facilities – including the ports of Hodeidah and al-Salif – are under direct Houthi control and are regularly used for terror-related operations.

The airstrike followed the interception of two Houthi ballistic missiles early Tuesday morning. That attack triggered sirens in the Jordan Valley and several towns in Samaria. Residents ran for shelters before sunrise. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
The Houthis have significantly intensified their attacks on Israel in recent weeks. On May 4, a missile hit directly near Ben-Gurion Airport – an unprecedented incident that further fueled Israel’s response.
The Israeli government has made it clear that it will respond decisively to threats – even from long distances – to ensure the safety of its citizens. The international community is watching the developments with concern, while the United Nations is once again calling for restraint to avoid further escalation.

One has to wonder how those nations willing to sacrifice Israel would like it if the Houthis were shooting at them?
