Culinary Abundance in Israel’s North

Many Israeli’s take advantage of the intermediate days of Passover to take vacations and trips into nature. Israel’s north is always very popular and has a lot to offer culinarily.

The Sea of Galilee and surrounds, the Lower and Upper Galilee, and of course the Golan Heights. After a pleasant outing hunger pangs inevitably strike and places to satisfy the “inner man” are usually sought after!

If you are not sure where to satisfy yourself you can simply drive to the Agamon Market which is located adjacent to Highway 90 not too far from the Hula Lake Park in the Galilee panhandle.

The Agamon market offers a choice of food stalls, cafes and restaurants on 4000 square meters, where there is something for everyone. Shops also offer the specialties of Galilee for sale. The Agamon Market provides a great opportunity to get to know Israel’s culinary diversity.
