But in the Arab world, the words of the führer are still distributed, read and hold sway over the worldview of millions of people.

By now, most are aware that the Arab world at large has chosen to sweep the Nazi Holocaust against the Jews under the rug. While the Holocaust is taught in Western schools as a significant and tragic historical event, this is certainly not the case in schools in the Middle East. The only books one can easily find about the Holocaust in Arab countries are those denying that it ever took place.

It seems odd that the Arabs would so venerate Hitler, but at the same time dismiss the veracity of what Hitler saw as one of his greatest missions. In fact, it was the Nazis themselves who first denied the Holocaust ever happened in order to absolve themselves of criminal responsibility. Adolf Eichmann, the architect of the “Final Solution,” later teamed up with a pro-Nazi Dutch journalist by the name of Wilhelmus Antonius Sassen in Argentina, where the two published a newspaper proclaiming it...
