Arab and Jewish Children Enjoy the Summer Vacation

No, kids in the Holy Land aren’t constantly ducking bombs. In fact, they live pretty normal lives

Often mis-portrayed as a land of little more than conflict, people might be surprised to find both Israeli Jewish and Palestinian Arab children doing pretty much what kids everywhere else are doing this time of year: enjoying their summer vacation.

Here are some street performers entertaining children in downtown Jerusalem during the summer holidays:

While in Gaza it’s nice to see children finding time to enjoy a local playground during the Muslim holiday of Eid Al Adha marking the end of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca:
