The biblically prophesied divine Judgement Day is nearly upon us, according to an outspoken Israeli rabbi who says we’ve only got until the end of this year to get our affairs in order.
Rabbi Matityahu Glazerson is a controversial figure for his use of “Bible codes” to try to predict short-term future events. He claims to have done so with the coronavirus pandemic, as well as with what he says is a looming direct Iranian attack on Israel.
But Rabbi Glazerson is also a prolific author who established a successful yeshiva, and is a member of the the Hebrew University’s Jewish Music Research Centre. He has a sizable following in the ultra-Orthodox world, and as such commands a certain degree of respect. So when Rabbi Glazerson issues predictions, as much as most secular Israelis might roll their eyes, the mainstream Israeli media is quick to report on it.
In his latest video clip, which was picked up by Israel’s Walla News portal, Rabbi Glazerson predicted that “soon the Messiah will come, finish and burn the enemies of Israel. Peace and tranquility will then come to the whole world.”
But before that happens, the rabbi said the Bible codes tell him that Israel will suffer a fourth election in less than two years, the coronavirus pandemic will worsen, and Iran will strike the Jewish state.
Here is one of Rabbi Glazerson’s English-language video clips from late last year:
