Hamas butchered Thai nationals, and no one’s talking about it

Palestinian jihadist savagery was truly demonstrated in how it not only treated Jewish foes, but any “infidels” who happened to be around.

Israeli Jews are the enemies of the Palestinian Arabs. The Palestinians have made as much clear. So when Hamas invaded southern Israel on October 7, 2023, it was “natural” that the terrorists targeted Jews and those Arabs who enjoy Israeli citizenship and “collaborate” with the Jewish state.

But why did they also butcher 44 Thai nationals and take another 31 hostage?

“The Thai workers are innocent. They are not involved in politics, they have nothing to do with anyone’s conflict… they were just there to earn a living,” noted Thai Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara.

And yet, Thai survivors report that the Gaza terrorists who burst into southern Israel that fateful morning had prepared for encountering the East Asian foreigners. Hamas gunmen called to the Thais in their own language, having learned the phrases needed to lure them out. And once the frightened Thais, thousands of whom were in Israel to work as farm laborers and caregivers, were in the open, Hamas subjected them to grizzly execution or dragged them back to the tunnels of Gaza.

Why?

Because Hamas and the millions of Palestinians brainwashed by the group are jihadists, and to them the Thais are “infidels.” And infidels are ultimately deserving of only one thing.

The bigger question is why has this not been a bigger story in the mainstream international press? A few outlets ran reports on the fact that Thais were targeted by Hamas, but focused more attention on why the Thais were in Israel in the first place, all but sidestepping their cruel treatment at the hands of the Palestinians.

I think I know the answer to that one, too.

There’s a narrative to maintain. And as brutally as Hamas treated Israelis on that Black Shabbat, that narrative would have us believe that the Israelis were at least partially deserving. Decades of “occupation” and “oppression” had driven the Gazans to commit this madness, suggested UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and millions of others who share his twisted logic.

But the Thais? There was no such “justification” to torture, slaughter, and kidnap them. And certainly not in a premeditated manner.

The only explanation is that like ISIS, the Palestinians who took part in October 7 and the millions more who support their actions are dangerous religious fundamentalists who would gladly kill all non-believers, given the chance. They might be coming for Israel today, but they won’t stop there. And as such providing them with an independent state where they can marinade future generations in their hateful and violent ideology is at best shortsighted.

That, of course, doesn’t fit the narrative. So instead of reporting what happened to the Thais in southern Israel and letting Western audiences reach this damning conclusion, the media has chosen to ignore the story.

Absolutely right. There is not one moderate Muslim and the West needs to take that on board too.
