There is always some reason for the media to attack Israel. This week, the case of a Palestinian bookstore in East Jerusalem was in the spotlight.

A small bookstore on Salah ad-Din Street—not a little shop of horrors, but decidedly Palestinian. Israeli police raided the “Educational Bookshop,” confiscated books, and arrested the bookseller Mahmoud Muna and his nephew Ahmed, who have since been released. The only book confiscated that the police showed to the press was a children’s coloring book titled From the River to the Sea. Another book found in the store was My Friend is an ISIS Fighter by Hajar Abdel Sahed. Since October 7, there has been much talk about the need for the deradicalization of the Gaza Strip. However, the same deradicalization is also needed in East Jerusalem and in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria.
