Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States, has never adhered to conventional diplomatic rules. His current vision—a geopolitical shift, historical peace agreements, and the neutralizing of regional conflicts—could alter the international balance of power and lead to an outcome previously unimaginable. The talk is of a strategic alliance between the West, Russia, and the Arab states, while China’s influence is weakened and Iran is isolated. And what is Israel’s role in this new world order? Israel appears to be just another puzzle piece in the American scheme. The following is an analysis based on Israeli and Arab sources.

According to reports, Trump views the war in Ukraine not only as a crisis but as an opportunity. Following his business-oriented approach, he might attempt to negotiate a comprehensive package with Russia, in which the US would recognize Russia’s control over Crimea and Donbass in exchange for Russian concessions in other regions, particularly in the Middle East, with a focus on Iran.
