ISIS Missile Hits Southern Israel

Israeli tanks open fire on northern Gaza after terrorist rocket slams into southern town of Sderot

Palestinian terrorists affiliated with ISIS fired a rocket into southern Israel on Wednesday. The projectile landed on a residential street in the oft-targeted town of Sderot, causing damage but no injuries.

The attack was claimed by Ahfad al-Sahaba-Aknaf Bayt al-Maqdis, a Palestinian group that acts as the local Gaza branch of ISIS.

The group’s statement was issued in both Arabic and poorly translated Hebrew, which read:

“Oh you cowardly Jews: You don’t have safety in our land. [Former defense minister Moshe] Ya’alon, the failure at giving security. [Defense Minister Avigdor] Liberman to fail will be a certainty.”

Israeli tanks positioned in the area returned fire on Hamas and other terrorist installations in northern Gaza.
