The Tower of David Museum’s exhibit on the history of Jerusalem has for the first time included the role of Messianic Jews.

A new project within the framework of celebrating the 50th anniversary of Jerusalem’s reunification offers a series of guided tours called “Its Many Faces” exposing visitors to the various religious communities in this city, including Christians and Messianic Jews.

 

Visitors will get to hear from Idan Pinchas, director of the Christ Church Museum just across the road. In trying to get a better picture of what the tour includes, Israel Today spoke to Pinchas. He told us that as part of the program, visitors to the Tower of David will receive a full lecture on Messianic Judaism. The idea, Pinchas stated, is to use this opportunity to preach the Gospel and dispel some of the misconceptions Israelis have about Messianic Jews.

 

While “Its Many Faces” is a limited-time event, the Tower of David cooperates with Christ Church on a regular basis. In May, Pinchas told us, more than 1,500 Israelis visited the Christian compound.
