This is seen in ritual baths, religious sites devoid of images of people, kitchens without pig bones, and many, many other evidences. Now, archaeologists from the Hebrew University have found a seal that could have been personally used by the Prophet Isaiah. The small seal was discovered south of the Temple Mount. A grazing doe can be made out on the seal, which is regarded as a symbol of blessing and protection.
Unfortunately, the artifact is not completely intact, but the Hebrew letters, which can be correlated with the era of the First Temple, appear to say l’Yesha’yah[u] (belonging to Isaiah). One line below are letters that could be nvi (navi is the Hebrew word for prophet). However, as the seal is damaged it is not possible to be certain whether the word is really navi.
