Benedict offers 20 dishes that are exclusively Israeli. It was founded in 2006 under the slogan: “What one eats for breakfast is more important than when one eats breakfast.”
“This will be the first breakfast restaurant in Berlin and we hope that we succeed in attracting Berliners with a cuisine that was born in the shared eating rooms of the kibbutz,” says co-owner Yair Kindler. “In Israeli food culture, breakfast is a special thing. We are bringing the DNA of the world-famous Israeli breakfast to Berlin with freshness and abundance. We hope that we will stir up a [culinary] revolution.”
Benedict has already opened several other branches in and around Tel Aviv, including Vicky Cristina, Bread Story and Zou Bisou.
