Tactical drones save lives, and have become one of the most important tools for Israeli soldiers operating in the Gaza Strip.
In recent weeks, both our readers abroad and the units on the ground in Gaza have been asking us about drones. So we decided to take the next step and purchase 25 DJI Avata drones. These robust drones are being used more and more in the field.
Why doesn’t the army take care of this? The IDF has limited resources, so procures these drones only for certain units. Other units turn to those willing to help, like Israel Today and our readers, to procure the gear they need.
The soldiers must then complete the training course to pilot these drones, each of which costs around 1,500 euros. We will either buy the drones locally or import them from abroad. Either way, we must get these into the hands of our boys. Anyone who would like to support this mission can do so at the link below by marking your donation “FOR DRONE”.
