Novak, as seasoned El Al pilot and a mother of four, flew the Netanyahus to Greece where the prime minister met with Greek and Cypriot officials.

Unlike most of El Al’s pilots, Novak was not a pilot in the Israel Air Force. Instead, she learned to fly in the US for the express purpose of becoming a commercial pilot. “Being a pilot has always been a dream of mine. My husband is very supportive, and he is helping realize this dream,” said Novak at the time of her flight training in 2015.
